Pretty impressive list Kelli!!! You've seen some crackers this year

Ermm ok let me think....

Coldplay (Once this year)

Maximo Park (2 times)

Five O'Clock Heroes (2 times)

Richard Ashcroft (Once this year)

Dirty Pretty Things (5 times - by the end of the year  )

Arctic Monkeys

Hard-Fi

Madonna

Keane

Muse

Foo Fighters

Editors

The Kooks

Placebo

The Prodigy

Primal Scream

Goldfrapp

Ladyfuzz

Well those are the main ones anyway, there are lots more from IOW fest and support acts etc but that I wouldn't really rate so can't be arsed to list.

And loads of small up&coming bands i've seen in scummy pubs in London that I wont list 'cos it will go on forever.

Favourites are:

Dirty Pretty Things (just love love love. :nice: I could say so much but I won't 'cos i'll ramble on all day. So i'll just say, VERY good live band :D )

Muse (Just electric, insane, crazy mind-blowing, 'stadium rock' at it's very, very best. 4mins13 of KOC - i've never gone so nuts in my life!:laugh3: )

Maximo Park (Really get the crowd going. So much energy and charisma. And super tight-trousers. :sneaky: LMFAO. Plus lovely, lovely guys)

Arctic Monkeys (One of the most insane gigs i've experienced. Despite everyone around me, including myself, pretty much being pushed to near-death levels of crushing, everyone was still singing every single lyric (and guitar riff!) like their lives depended on it.

So in pain the next day I couldn't drive my car = one of the best gigs of my life)

The Prodigy (Just imagine raving like you've never raved before in a field with 50,000 other people to the best dance music ever made. Glow sticks and all. AWSOMENESSSS  )

FOCH's (My fave up&coming band. Half from London, half from NYC. Catchy tunes, great to dance your arse off to, brilliant album. And really sweet guys.)

Anybody living in the UK or US has a big advantage, because the majority of the best bands/artistes are from those countries, so the tours are far more extensive and far more frequent.

Therefore there are far more opportunities to see decent concerts.

For example, Keane only did two shows in Germany, and neither of them was anywhere near where I'm based.

Anyway, at least I managed the following:

David Gray

Madness

Robbie Williams

Simply Red

George Michael

Plus I'm already booked for Snow Patrol, Marillion and OMD in 2007.

Mark's right....US&UK peeps do have a rediculously unfair advantage. I hadn't thought of that.

BLIMEY TLo that's a whoooooole lot of gigs!!! :shocked2: I thought I was a gig-whore! :shocked2: :laugh4:

You are..................................... and a DPT addict to boot, it seems!!:P

it's pretty hard to get bands outside of US and UK, pretty much because "not mainstream" bands don't really do European tours, or their EU tour is quite short

but to be honest i saw everyone who i wanted to and had an opportunity to see

Radiohead

Sigur Ros

Final Fantasy aka Owen Pallett

DEUS

+ some local bands
