What? Debs is not mean, she's just doing a job. I assume you're talking about recent DVD news that might not be as you'd hoped? Don't assume Debs has made those decisions, you seem at the moment to be the only one not looking at the bigger picture. Maybe you've heard of the phrase, "Don't shoot the messenger"?

 

I have to say this on Debs behalf since she doesn't come here often, if it weren't for the portal and the link to Coldplay that she provides, you wouldn't even have known Guy was a father!

i wasn't saying Debs is a mean person, it just seems shes being alittle hostile lately, i mean sure everybody is complaining about the dvd, but thats because it was already set to be released, so everybody wants answers. I just don't see why she had to be so harsh about the whole thing, it just seemed kinda weird. I don't know, my personal opinion is that they just aren't releasing the info about the dvd, but thats just my opinion, dont eat my face off about it!

Actually, she did find them playing at a pub... it was 8 yrs ago a few days ago... she announced it on official CP website, of which she is the webmaster. She is not mean... she has done one hell of a job keeping in touch with us all and answering thousands of questions every day! I really don't know how she has the time to check in and do her a&r job too! She may have brought us bad news about the DVD not coming instead a TV concert to be shown, but she has nothing to do with business decisions of the band. If people would just take the time to read the many topic threads, they would be better informed and not ask the same questions over and over and over.....cheers to Debs and thanks to her a gazillion times! :kiss:

From what I understand, Yes.

 

I wouldn't call Debs mean. I'm quite glad she's around and takes an intrest in us silly fans. She can come across as a bit er... terse at moments, but I think that has more to do with the medium. It is so easy to take people out of context when talking through typing. It happens to me all of the time. I'm trying to be playful and they think I'm in a bad mood. It's just writing style, I suppose.

true, its not her job, and i appreciate Debs as much as the next guy, it just seemed that lately she was almost mad, but it probably was just from all the excessive bitching about the dvd
