Talk-Demo Version=Great!!

Featured Replies

I dont know if this post should be in here or not but oh well.Every so often ill have a favorite coldplay song that ill listen to a lot at that point and time.Right now its the talk demo version. The one that was leaked.I really like both versions a lot!But right now i cant stop listening to the demo version. Its such a great version!!

There are songs that shows how good of voice chris has.And i think that this version is one of them.I love the begining verse. where he starts to sing,"Under the great north star, try to work out where you are,in the silence of the sea,i dont know where id be."Man that opening verse just gets me hooked! And the way he sings it too.His voice is so mellow and calm but yet it sounds so powerful!Ya know what i mean?

I also love the lyrics. The bass beat is the first thing i noticed when i first heard this version an is what made me fall in love with this verison.I was so excited when this version got leaked since we havent heard anything new from them in a long time at that point. But anyways i just wanted to say how good this version is.Anyone else agree?

i think it's better than the album version ! i love it too :dozey:

this is version is the one that starts with "under the great north star"??

I would have to say that i slightly like the album version better. Just my opinion. :)

this is version is the one that starts with "under the great north star"??
yes

I prefer the album version! But this one is great!!!

it's much better than the album version because of the lyrics.

yeah, a shame they've picked the other version! :(

Where do we find this version? I heard a different version of Talk on the radio, though unsure that this demo version is the same thing. I loved it, too. Everybody at my work was busy working. But, I decided to turn up the radio and listen to it. Luckily my manager's a cool guy.

I like it, but it's not as good as the album version.

Demo version can be found easily by searching the Multimedia section

Up there ^

They Both have such good openings, WHen i found it i was completely hooked, for days i'd play it over and over. I do love it more than the album version.

However I do feal that the guitar riff and Chorus, is a bit slapdash, but the album version is a bit more together.

They both have such great openings.

"Oh Brother I Cant, I Cant Get Through"

"Under the Great (North? I thought it was Lone?) Star, Trynna Work out were you are"

Brilliant.

I like both versions, but I don't see them as the same song at all since I heard the demo version in march '05 and the album one in june '05. I see them as 2 totally different songs. I do like the demo's lyrics and overall meaning a lot better, and it has a different tone overall. The album version is a much 'harder or rocker' feel, and the part near the end builds up very nicely.
