I can't pass this thread by without a quick mention for a band called fields.

There's no album yet but even so, I've managed to get addicted to virtually every song I've heard of theirs so far...

so Nik what you think about PEP?

they are OK after one listen.

they are quite jazzy. i like that, brings some special atmosphere, but i sometimes felt kind of disturbance during some songs. like they didn't really know what they want to do

but the record's OK, i quite enjoyed it in some places

listen to it more ;)

want me to upload more for you tomorrow?

I def recomend picking up the new Shins album for sure. It's a different direction than where they went with "Oh, Inverted World" and "Chutes Too Narrow" but I really like it. Also Sondre Lerche's new album "Phantom Punch" is quite awesome and again a cool new direction from previous efforts, especially his last "Duper Sessions". Im really lookin forward to the new Modest Mouse. I have a good feeling about that one!

Bright Eyes EP should work again ;)

I dislike Mika. He will be this year's The Feeling/Orson, songs written for the radio.

I don't have a link but the new Koop-album is really awsome! ;)

the new MM should be good indeed. they can't go wrong with Marr. though, the single (Dashboard) is kinda terrible
