I'm starting to really like The View!

I'd still recommend a couple of albums from 2006 too, especially Empire by Kasabian and Yours to Keep by Albert Hammond Jr, guitarist from The Strokes solo album - much better than the last two Strokes albums

I'm looking forward for the new polytechnic album. "Down Til Dawn" it is called, I have seen this Manchester band twice, and they just keep on getting better. Off course they won't be everybody's cup of tea.

Pelican's new album, City of Echoes, is realeased in May. Although its already been leaked. Good band.

any recommendation for something not as easy-listening as coldplay or keane, but not too in-my-ears like modern mouse. to narrow it down even more, no recommendations to bands that already have threads since i've peaked at a few and nothing has really hit that musical note that i seem to be craving.

anything close would be helpful :)

Blonde Redheads's new album "23" is worth a listen, though not as good as their preview stuff

Takk people... Takk!

And after reading through some pages in this thread looking for a new fresh cd to buy i decided to buy Limp Bizkit's Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavoured Water :P man that album is brilliant... used to love Limp bizkit long time ago.

Kane- fearless

I saw them live last year.

When they toured with Our Lady Peace? sweet. And unfortunantly, I haven't had that pleasure since i'm not Canadian.

yeah they were opening for OLP, there were 3 opening bands so by the time Neverending White Lights got on I just wanted them to get off and bring on Our Lady Peace!

I have a review for Neon Bible if you want to add it.

Also wondering if you have LCD Soundsystems new album. I'm listening to it on myspace. I like.

Can anyone tell me anything about The Klaxons...besides 'they're good'?
