Any news onit or anything? Last i heard it was gona drop this year and be alot heavier than theyre earlier music...

Yeah it's coming out this year, latest rumors are October. Brian Eno is on board as a producer for the album. So far the following tracks are speculated to be on it:

 

Bucket For a Crown

Mining on the Moon

The Fall of Man

The Butterfly

(I Shall Be Released)? (Don't know about that one)

 

There was also some talk before that the following old tracks would be re-recorded and perhaps re-worked for this album:

 

Solid Ground

Ladder to the Sun

How You See The World

Gravity

On their official website, Debs says it's not planned for a 2007 release.

I also suppose a new album won't be dropped

Haha @ the tracklist. There is no official tracklist...and you know they like to knock off songs. It's just way too early for all that.

It's not the official tracklist, but the name of the songs avoided from X&Y and the songs that Coldplay are working on...

we know chris, if hes gonna find a suitable object in his sarroundings, he would rename the songs...

they're cool song names, can't wait to hear them :cool:

who knows anymore? it would be miraculously wonderful to have a new album by the end of the year, but if theres one thing i would complain about coldplay, its that they are indecisive and impulsive with releasing news and sometimes go back on their word.

As long as it's good i wont complain. But the whole getting heavier idea concerns me. The reason i love the band so much is for the simplicity and the beautiful piano pieces. If it gets much heavier, that all might get lost in translation. :cry:

^I remember one of them saying that they will still focus on great melodies and such, no worries. I doubt they'll be like a metal band. haha

i am sure the next album is gonna be amazing, but there's no way it's coming out anytime soon:cry: . There's just no possible way, especially since they're such perfectionists.
