Thanks a lot Dave.

This is useful info.

I hope your knee will get better sometime, now that your foot recovered.

And mostly your heart.

Norton's a memory whore

Seriously

Drop it

It makes me cry :bigcry:

Thanks, David Watts. And yes, Cobalt, I'm gonna download AVG right now and delete Norton's ass off my laptop! I've been waiting a long time for this moment! :D

Good luck getting rid of Norton.

You need the Norton Removal tool

You shouldn't run more than 1 anti-virus programs at the same time as they clash with each other ;)

I switched from OneCare to AVG and now Avast. I really liked features of all. So far Avast has been great and AVG was great.

I like not having to pay for what I dont have to. I also use a program called CCleaner as well as the free version of Ad-Aware. I love them all.

I use Cyberdefender. I didn't see it on your selection, so I chose other. Cyberdefender has blockes some bad virus thingies from hitting my computer and I'm happy for it. I recommend it to all my friend.

Norton sucks. We used to have it and it didn't even do much of a job of keeping out viruses and other nasties. I use AVG free these days, never had any problems with it.

I've tried alot of Antivirus.. And I'm now using Avira now.

The first antivirus that does what I wan't and not thinks that EVERYTHING is a virus.:D

I have Avira too... Haven't had any problems with it up to now

Kaspersky! :cheesy:

I used to use AVG though

i use McAfee :) its done a pretty good job...theres a handy little tool @ the top of my browser from them that tells me if a site has been known to have malicious software

These days I be mainly using the Comodo Internet Security Software, there was no real reason why I changed from AVG/McAfee.

On my Vista computer during it's test mode, i'm using Norton, mainly because it came already on there, and to eliminate the problem of random crashes being down to software I have put on there I'm leaving it on. However once sorted, I shall be going to Comodo.

Kaspersky

I use Symantec 2009 (It gets updated yearly), it's excellent in every aspect. You should also try Comodo BO Clean, it's an antispyware eradicator. :wink3:
