Who's seen the video for 9 Crimes? Sorry if this has been discussed before, but it's really odd!

i like the new album, but at times it does seem a bit formulaic, verse, chorus, same verse repeated just louder, chorus, verse repeated louder/with strings etc etc etc. that having said, it does work quite well. i prefer the first though i think. accidental babies is amazing though.

well, I think everyone must agree that this album is far behind the first one... that is no masterpiece...

 

what I disagree is from some reviews really exagerating in how bad the album is...

I think the video is.. hmm.. interesting to say the least ^^ A little bit (very) sad though! Fits the song, I guess..

I contacted the venue and they replied last night and said that Damien Rice cancelled some shows because he "had the feeling the tour schedule was overloaded".. He promised to do the gig sometime later though, so I hope I won't have to wait too long :D

I've only heard a couple of songs by him... 9 crimes and The Blowers Daughter (i listened to this one 'cos it appears in the Garden State film).

 

I'm currently trying to play and sing on the piano 9 crimes, I began yesterday... and i think it's quite easy 'cos the only part i don't know how to do is the chorus, but the rest it's great! :)

 

anyway, i'm not really into his songs... could you recommend me some?

'Volcano', is a good song.

Um I also like 'I Remember'.

 

Those are probably my favourites.

Ahhhh I saw him live on new years eve! I went to see a band called the frames and he was a surprise guest! He only played 2 songs but it was AMAZING!
