February 3, 200818 yr I think this is Eno's handwriting... Got it from here: http://music.hyperreal.org/artists/brian_eno/interviews/troup82a.html It doesn't look all that similar to the prospekt entries, I don't think.
February 4, 200818 yr Not at all, that an hardly be read! I'm thinking it could be Phil too, but didn't he move away though? To another country? My memory is vague. Is all very exciting either way.
February 4, 200818 yr UGHGHGH. Im DYING over here! I can't wait another month!:bigcry: Uuuuggggghghghg, hurry upppp. :bigcry: *tears of joy* Im soooo excited!
February 4, 200818 yr yeah, i'm really of the opinion that prospekt is phil. he's from devon as well, isnt he? and in the last entry, which was written in devon, he mentioned being at home. i dont think just because that's chris's home, it means its the entire band's home as well. I think this is Eno's handwriting... Got it from here: http://music.hyperreal.org/artists/b.../troup82a.html It doesn't look all that similar to the prospekt entries, I don't think. i got that in a google image seach as well, but i couldnt tell definitively if it was eno's! if it is his, then i think we have our answer: prospekt is at least not eno. does that mean it's phil? or does anyone have any other ideas? i hope the song titles don't reflect the subject matter, lol. i have to say that i agree. even though i'm not judging the songs based on their titles before i hear them, songs about strawberries and glasses of water dont strike me as brilliant lyric-wise, even if they are great musically. i must say that i'm hoping for really brillo lyrics on this album, because i was kind of disappointed by most of the lyrics on X&Y.
February 4, 200818 yr ^Yes, I remember Prospekt saying that Chris' lyrics were alot more visual this time around. Not sure what to make of that, but as you said I hope he doesn't start harping on about glasses of water or strawberry swings. Can you imagine though? I saw a glass of water, on a table top 20 metres high, maybe thirty The sun was out and it was getting hot, Then I realised I was thirsty
February 4, 200818 yr Agreed. The song titles seem really different...but you really can't judge it from that yet. It's like 'Politik'. The spelling and everything is weird, but in the end it turned out to be a great song. Yeah but at least its....well serious. Strawberry Swing?? sounds like a cake or something :freak:

February 4, 200818 yr As far as "weird song titles" go I'm not worried at all, Many, Many bands (Radiohead is the first that comes to my mind), have "weird" song titles for what turn out to be beautiful songs. Fake Plastic Trees is a fairly "dumb" name for a song, but (IMHO) that song is one of the finest pieces of music ever made. For that matter is Coldplay even the most "normal" or "cool" sounding name for a band? Probably not, but I'm sure most here would rate the quality of Coldplay's music fairly highly...:wink3: In short, I don't much like arbitrary labels for things, least of all music, and fail to see how such things hold much meaning for the quality of the music itself... Of course, the new songs could actually be about a glass and a swing composed of strawberries, in which case...:embarassed:
February 4, 200818 yr all that came to my mind was strawberry fields.. nothing is real  You wouldn't be a Beatels fan would you?
