^^ Remembering Cage I went on youtube to listen to some. That's the first piece popping up there. People 'listen' to it like mad it seems. But apart from that, I don't have a problem with it. Put it in it's era's context, you'll get abstraction/ decomposition of form in any art field.

 

He was simply being very consequential here. Somebody had to do that at one point of human affrontement with music and sounds, I think. Et voilà, there you go.
