Ah, who am I kidding... this is the point where (metaphorically) everyone who knows me is pointing and laughing.

 

I'm 25 and I still sleep with my stuffed rabbit. But after this long what am I supposed to tell him? I'm sorry, I'm too old for you to be real anymore? Because after all these years he's my very own velveteen rabbit. He'll go into hiding if he needs to, but I'd miss him too much if he was gone for no reason.

I don't sleep with a teddy bear, although I used too, his name was...teddy *sigh* and I rekon he is about 40 years old now cus my gradmother bought it for my mum when she was a girl.

The only things i need are my pilloows. I have 4 of them but only one for sleeping hah. But it feels weird to sleep without them. I guess that could be compared to sleeping with stuffed animals

I can fall asleep with music blaring in my ears, and yet, in total silence, will stay awake for hours! And I do have a whole bunch (well, only 4) of teddies on my bedhead...but they don't bother me!

i used to sleep with teddys... one was a rabbit.. when i was in kindergarden i remember that i went to school with (another) rabbit teddy and give it to my mother to take it back home, my parents told me that when i was like 2 i didn't slept if i didn't had my doll called Cristina (like my cousin), but you see i was very small when i did all this lol. i still have my teddys somewhere at home, not in the bed :P ...

 

3 years ago looking for something at home i found two barriguitas and i rescue it of the place she was hidden in, and we named them Clemen(tina) (like a fruit) (i didn't remember her original name), i still have her at the living room, and i had bought some clothes for her, and a school bag :nice: :embarassed:

 

btw i have two teddies (a doll and a toy) in the car... :embarassed: on the back part, we also have named them (Pencho and Huertas), i bought them in november (two years ago) for my mother, so now are very special teddies for me :cry: and last winter i slept with both them. :embarassed: them are warm.

 

is sweet but sometimes i feel i go back dangerously to childhood with this things :embarassed:

When I was a kid I had a stuffed baby kangaroo called Joey, and he fucking rocked. We were such good mates.

 

But he was male of course, and I genuinely treated him like another best friend, not like I owned him. Sleeping with him woulda been weird.

lol I have no idea why I started this topic. Must have been all that caffeine I had last night.

 

But I'm not ashamed. I'm glad to see there are lots of people out there who had a special plush toy.

Mine are hidden away in my closet :( maybe it's time to bring them back out?
