I was in a music shop last week in Cambridge when my boyfriend said "Hey, isn't that the piano-player from Keane?" Of course I almost broke a leg trying to get standing beside this man, but it wasn't Tim Rice-Oxley after all :( :lol:

Anyhoo, then I said, jokingly, "But he looks like one of the guys from the Thrills"

 

We forgot all about it and then on a website I saw that the Thrills were playing a gig in Cambridge that night so it was definitely him. oooooops.

saw them live last thursday they were ammmmaaaaaaaazzziiinnngg! the guitar guy pictured above^^^ wth the weird shirt on had a big grim on for the whole gig! :D

I just have to say I love this band. I have been listening to their latest album Lets Bottle Bohemia on one of those streaming websites for the past few weeks and can't stop listening to them. I just love the dudes voice and the way they incorperate the strings into the songs. It's pretty cool stuff.

 

So anybody else listen to the Thrills? If you haven't heard them I advice checking em' out.

I was disappointed when i bought let's bottle bohemia.

I actually have heard Whatever Happened To Corey Haim, and it is definitely one of their best songs.
