Lalo5
Where is the quote about Paranoid Android and MTV censoring the womens breast but not the mans arms being chopped off that's an awesome quote, everything that comes out of his mouth is so true. the_gloaming09
ya i saw that....he said he really didnt like getting pictured. yeah he never really likes getting pictures taken with anyone. I don't really see why with fans, but I definitely could see why photo's like these. I mean if I was on touring, and visiting the beach or something to relax and almost have a vacation, I wouldn't want people photographing me
thescientist06
It's weird to see Thom Yorke in photos like that, like he's some hollywood god with a great body. No, he's just Thom Yorke. It's odd.

RadioMad
Thom Yorke Solo Single Due -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Limited edition 7" of his Mark Mulcahy cover is out next month. Yet another one-off release from the Radiohead camp-- though you'll have to pay for this one. Then again, it's probably worth it. Thom Yorke's piercing cover of Mark Mulcahy's "All for the Best"-- featured on the upcoming tribute album Ciao My Shining Star: The Songs of Mark Mulcahy, out September 29 via Shout! Factory-- gets a limited edition 7" release September 7 via Mulcahy's own Mezzotint imprint. And they're not kidding about the "limited" part; Recordstore.co.uk (which is currently accepting pre-orders) claims only 2,000 copies of the single will be available worldwide. The 7" is backed by Mulcahy's original version of the tribute record's title track. Good news! Better hurry to pre-order!!

RadioMad
FeelingPulledApartbyHorses/ TheHollowEarth 12inch Dear Sir or Madam This is to inform you of the release of two more bits of work shortly. They are loosely under the Thom Yorke name this time, although these days its all getting kind of blurry. FeelingPulledApartbyHorses is written & played by Jonny and I and is a radical rework of an old tune thats been kicking around without a home since 2001? i think. The Hollow Earth is a bass menace that was born out of the Eraser period but needed a little more time. Both were produced by Nigel Godrich as ever. And mastered by Bob Ludwig. They are being put out on 12" with sliced sleeve by Stanley and Tchock. My sources tell me this will be available from the 21st of September if you're interested.. On sale in the w.a.s.t.e part of our website (with a gratis download.) Or you can go buy it in a good record shop if you are lucky enough to have one near you. Then later on there will be like a normal download thing i think around the 6th of Oct through the usual channels. And so it goes. all the best Thom Live demos: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qc_3R2-TIJk]'Feeling Pulled Apart By Horses' - Full band live demo[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sTHJHMuhEUo]'Feeling Pulled Apart By Horses' - Thom Yorke solo live demo[/ame] Pre-order your copy of 'Feeling Pulled Apart By Horses/The Hollow Earth' now

the_gloaming09
from billboard: Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke confirmed the details of his forthcoming single release today with a posting on the band's website. Two songs - "FeelingPulledApartbyHorses" and "Hollow Earth" -- will be released on Sept. 21 as a limited-edition 12" vinyl single, which the band is making available on its own website. The vinyl single includes a free digital download of the two songs, which will also be available as paid downloads around Oct. 6, according to Yorke's statement. According to Billboard sources, Yorke is considering some dates before the end of the year for live performances in support of the music - potentially his first with a band other than Radiohead - but details remain unconfirmed. The "Feeling..." track is an older Radiohead song that is performed by Yorke and the band's guitarist Jonny Greenwood. "Hollow Earth" was originally recorded for Yorke's 2006 solo album "The Eraser," "but needed a little more time," he wrote. Both tracks were produced by Radiohead's longtime collaborator Nigel Godrich. The announcement of the new Yorke material comes at a time of renewed activity for the band. On Aug. 17, the band released a new song, "These Are My Twisted Words," as a free download on its website. On Aug. 5, it issued the digital track "Harry Patch (In Memory Of)," with proceeds going to the British Legion, the U.K. charity that supports the armed forces and its veterans. Harry Patch, who died aged 111 on July 25, was Britain's last surviving veteran of World War I. Radiohead does not have a long-term label deal at present, releasing its 2007 set "In Rainbows" via its own Web site on a pay-what-you-want basis for the MP3 and following that with a full release in January 2008 via XL Recordings in the U.K and ATO/Red in the U.S. http://www.billboard.com/news/radiohead-s-thom-yorke-announces-new-solo-1004009125.story#/news/radiohead-s-thom-yorke-announces-new-solo-1004009125.story I find the bold section quite exciting!!! I hope he comes to the US (although I doubt it since he wants to reduce carbon emissions)
