Well I have actually watched a few parts of a few episodes since all this craziness has started. From what Ive seen its something a younger teen or kid might actually enjoy, just mostly girls. Obviously I found it quite corny and soft, but it is a Disney show for young girls. So I can understand why so many people liked it. What I cant understand is how the whole country has completely turned and she is now so extremely hated when a few months ago she couldnt do anything wrong. What an odd turn around.:confused:

Okay, for God sakes people its a CHILDREN'S TV SHOW!! Im not saying im a hannah montana fan considering im a 16 year old guy, but ive heard of all the hype and everything about this show and girl. Its a childs tv show, of course its not always going to make perfect sense and the characters arent going to do anything innapropriate. ITS DISNEY CHANNEL, not comedy central. if you dont like it, my advice is DO WHAT I DO AND DONT WATCH IT. :argue:

Alright Im going to be honest.

 

It annoys me when people get really into hating celebrities..for example making hatewebsites. I mean why make it your life or even a small part of it to bash celebrities. Its the same thing as bashing people. If I dont like somebody, I dont like them. I dont go "omgI hate her shes so ugly blah blah blah.. to me thats immature.I much rather talk about things I enjoy. Of course we all have our moments when we like to rage about the things we dont like, just to get it out of us, but that shouldnt be everyday!

 

I dont care for miley cyrus.. I dont hate her, but as far as her music goes and acting I dont like it. But a girl who is 12 years old may enjoy her music. Everyone has different taste in what they enjoy to watch and listen to. I guess some just have better taste:P

 

In a year or less here, there will be a new "miley cyrus" and everyone will love/hate her.

Deja vu! Anyone thinking Olsen twins all over again??? Young, no talent, lots of money?? It makes me so angry that I'm working my ass off to get through college and she can get that far on nothing! I don't hate her b/c I'm jealous (and I AM jealous btw). I hate her b/c she doesn't deserve what she has.

 

Whatever happened to the kids shows I grew up on? Good TV is getting harder and harder to find.

I really dont think that makes a difference. Her dad was famous a long time ago, so long ago I dont think he had much of an influence. I know I never heard of him until all of her buzz.

I think she came out of nowhere cuz Disney was in a slump. They didnt have any really huge breakout type stars in a while (not since Lindsay Lohan/Hilary Duff era) and when they started up this show kids were starved for another teen star to idolize. I dont think they had any idea it would grow this big and I believe that while I dont particularly like her music I can say it seems like she's worked hard and earned all the success. Just my opinion.

I agree with you on the Disney slump. With Lindsay Lohan going crazy and Hilary Duff looking like an bulemic barbie doll, Disney needed some wholesome characters - which is why everyone and their mother knows about Hannah Montana and High School Musical. But I'm tired of feeding the corporate monster that is Disney. :freak: Get your kid to read a book or something, or send them outside, that's a hell of a lot cheaper than buying all of her mechandise and sold out concert tickets. :freak:
