Its Okay, The Escapist I think is going to be a good track!!

If you think about it a lot is going to happen in the next 2 months up to the release.Artwork,Single,Web Site,Music Video,Tour Dates,A song or two released before the album,interviews,and possibly a couple secret gigs or warm up gigs,ETC.So theres a lot to be done and heard in these next couple months which isnt a lot of time if you think about it!!This is such and exciting time to be a colplay fan!!

But I checked at first coldplay.com and there's still the old news there (the one about the jump from the stage...) so, I said: no tracklist today............................

and instead, I saw on coldplaying.com the copy of prospekt's message but I can't find it anywhere....

 

Anyway, it's like a dream today to be able to read the tracklist!

 

What I like is:

- the double song Lovers in Japan/Reign of love

- the number of tracks: 10 + hidden track

 

What I'm wondering about:

I found intriguing the description of songs like chinese sleep chant and famous old painters... are they next b-sides?

That track that feels like 3 unrelated storys stuck together...

 

A day in the life / Paranoid andriod - thats what i thought of.

No doubt the lead single will be a double A side, since they have so many quality songs they didn't put on the album.

 

Im guessing this album will be treat like Kid A or Led Zepplin, very few singles from the main album (to none) so its appreciated as a body of work rather than an assortment of songs) and maybe an EP somewhere down the line.
