i'm hoping it's on a radio station that i can stream from the internet, because i sincerely doubt that they'll have it on american radio that day too. i've already worked out how to stream XFM, so that would be good if it's on there...then i can hook my computer up to my stereo and do a crappy .WAV recording when it comes on, just in case no one else does. i'll die if i just hear the song once and there's no way of physically having even a bad-quality version on my ipod.

in 2005, on april 19th, speed of sound was on radio for the first time, worldwide. And it became available for download about everywhere for like 1$, there even was a link on coldplay.com

^was it really available for download on the 19th? i really thought it was on may 23rd and that it just got british radio play on the 18th/19th, but i could be entirely wrong. if you're right, i hope that they're doing it in a similar way this time!!

I was just on the The Escapist movie website (canNOT wait to see it, looks incredible!) and you can listen to some music from the movie. I was wondering if anyone happened upon the Coldplay song. I got REALLY excited because on the bottom of the page it says "Music composed by Benjamin Wallfisch Featuring exclusive track The Escapist by Coldplay" and theres a little record player button. I thought maybe I'd get to hear it. But i'm sure if it was on there, SOME one on here would have told us all about it.

I'm pretty certain thats right, I think about 5/10 minutes after it was first played it was avaliable to download. Am hoping for the same this time round!
