Sorry to keep posting (annoying much?) but I think I'll be disappointed if Violet Hill resembles any previous Coldplay track, since the descriptions have implied they've moved their sound on and I'm looking forward to seeing a difference!

In the near future the only chance to hear something seems to be the 30sec long preview that they might add on FMQB.com.. At the moment it's possible to hear songs set to be aired on 21st and 28th april... so maybe next week, preview of violet hill will be available too...

I'm going to check that site every day...

I think the only album it will possibly have any similarities to is parachutes, which won't be that bad, so don't worry until you hear it!;)

I have a feeling Violet Hill will premiered on BBC Radio One as with Speed Of Sound in 2005...

I haven't really given the new single or album much thought; the fact both will be with us in a matter of weeks hasn't really sunk in... I remember desperately downloading the bootleg KCRW concert mp3s just before X&Y was released and thinking 'oh my god'... the first time i heard Square One, even though it was terrible audio quality, I almost imploded... amazing, this time however I will wait until I hear it officially! The first time I hear the new album will be when I've bought the CD... no cheeky downloads or bootleg gigs for me...

From descriptions about Chris' voice, I thought it would sound dead on 'Where Is My Boy'. Looks like other people had the same idea :)
