How does this work as far as time zones? If the show is 10am to 1pm in London, what time will it be in New York? If someone could figure that out that would be awesome.

Well London is 5 hours ahead of eastern time zone in the US so the show would be from 5am to 8am:rolleyes:

Although I think the most-exciting-whatever is just something to make more and more people listen to it (as though the idea of Coldplay and their fourth album doens't do it itself), I can't help myself getting very excited about it.

I think that the big news will be the release of an EP or more than one EP to accompany the new album.

^That would be frinckin AWESOME! Especially if it had some alternate songs on it like Famous Old Painters

glasto is a good guess for the news, i reckon. but i'm kind of hoping for something a bit more awesome for all of us rather than just for the people that are going etc etc.

erm, how the hell can you release the cover art...on RADIO?

 

i suppose they could say "check out our website" or whatever, but i think it's something more exciting than just the cover art and less exciting than another album/EP of material. ian's theory of a radio gig sounds like a great one, so i think it's that or tour dates/glasto appearance. the station's just hyping it up, i bet: i think the most exciting CP news all year was getting the release date :D

I think the news is going to be that Chris is will give us each individually a hug for buying a physical copy of the album. Or that EMI is paying him extra to ditch the whole 'make trade fair' symbol on his hand so he can put their logo on it.
