is that website on coldplaying toolbar?

so exactly 12:15?

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

That is not before noon. So, you could probably just as well listen to Xfm.

Oh thanks for the info Humma! Here's the transcript:

WOMAN: Violet Hill is actually a bit heavier than I was expecting, which I'm very much into. It's got distorted guitars through it, Chris Martins vocals sound a bit grittier... its still distinctively Coldplay and there's this piano breakdown in the middle of it. But the verse, when I was listening to it, I thought actually this wouldn't go amiss on the last Elbow record or something, its kind of more down that route. So yeah, thumbs up!

MAN: Well if thats prickled your curiosity, you can hear the single here on (BBC)6 Music next Tuesday... so thats Violet Hill which will be playing out on the 6 Music airways, at 12:15(pm) on the 29th.

XFM?

Yeah, they'll give the full history of the track and album so far.

Sounds good. We've heard it's also a "blusey" song, and the song that springs to mind on Elbow's latest CD is "Grounds for Divorce" which has the gritty lyrics and blues-sound with the distorted guitar. Definitely something different and less sterile than anything on X&Y. I can't wait!

I hadn't listend to Elbow's last record and single until today. Well, I must say that the guitar that begins at 1:15 in "Grounds for Divorce" sound similar to the one that begins with the first verse of "Violet Hill".

But the woman description on the radio must be confused because the piano breakdown on "Violet Hill" is not at the middle, baut at the end.

The middle belongs to a bridge with a guitar riff mainly.

Ripped the bit on Jo Whiley's show where she talks about Viva La Vida. Sorry if it's already been ripped!

Thanks so much bro! It's amazing to hear someone talking about it... she sounds like she loves the whole album. I love how she says every song has a distinct sound to it and it could be a classic!

Interesting information, thanks!

VIOLET HILL!!!!"If you love me won't you let me know???"

Is someone really going to record it and put it up on the site? Or am i really gonna have to get up at 5AM tomorrow morning and listen until 7AM to see if it is played?

It would be extremely beneficial if someone recorded it. I know it was mentioned before.

ok ive been in washington DC since wednesday so i missed out on a ton and i don't feel like reading all of these threads so i just have a few questions... which station will violet hill be played on first? how do i listen to this station online? what time will it be when it is played in boston (US Eastern Time)? any other details worth knowing?

Maybe she heard a radio edit?

So, considering I live in Melbourne and am listening in fifteen minutes before each broadcast, these times are correct, no?

XFM: 8:30PM

BBC6: 8:45PM

If they aren't someone please figure them out for me, my brain hurts :bigcry:

Is there anywhere else to listen to the stream besides the Coldplaying toolbar? I live outside the UK and have a Mac.

In my PC, everything is goodly configurated to the recording of Violet Hill.

If you want it, just send me a PM with the title I WANT VIOLET HILL, and I`ll send you the faster I can.

OMFG, It`ll be my worse night to sleep, the wait kills me :o
