I just got up! Well, I got up at 2pm and it's all Coldplaying's fault,lol. I couldn't sleep til 6 this morning because of this thread.:D

ahhhhhhh this is all so crazy!!! on a normal day i wake up, shower, go to school and im lucky if i get there on time. today though i woke up and the first thing i thought about was coldplay. so i went on the computer after my shower (which i NEVER do) and theres a new coldplay.com. i couldnt post on here then because i had to get to school... but i couldn't stop thinking about it ALL DAY. i already have ADD but my teachers were even more fed up with me today because i couldnt stop thinking about this! i neeeeeddddd to go to this NYC free show and i now love the artwork! hated it at first but it's grown. this is just an unncesarry rant so no one has to read it but i'm so happy/so FREAKING excited to hear a new song tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont understand why people still call it "viva la vida or death and all his friends" to be honest. the artwork is there and it says clearly "viva la vida" no death and all his friends stuff..

 

It would have been cool if they had released "violet hill" tonight by a live broadcast of them playing it. and then tomorrow we'd get the free download of the recorded version.

I doubt that. i think it always was viva la vida OR death and all his friends and they chose viva la vida. but somehow everyone got all hyped about those things going together. i think that if the whole title was viva la vida or death and all his friends thats what the official cover would say.

but the official email sent today says it's both titles together. i think that they just didn't put the subtitle on the cover because it's a subtitle and it would mess up the way the cover looks.

If the music doesn't represent what the artwork does its a complete wasted opportunity.

yea the title is definately, without a doubt 'Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends.' and i oficially am obsessed with the album artwork.

XFM is still calling it by the full title, and all of Coldplay's releases on facebook etc. still call it by the full title, so my guess is that this is only partial artwork.:)

obsessed isn't the word for me, but i do really really really love it.

 

i still like X&Y the best out of all their covers so far, but they've all been absolutely great!

alright now it makes sense. I just never really saw them writing the titlw as the whole thing, plus i dont like the whole thing haha. but i guess then, it does say in the email. weird. they really pulled off a lot of confusion all through this new album for sure.

The album cover is ok but still...something new and their own would be better.

They could have come up with something..now i have an impression that they did not think too much about album cover.

Unless you've put an album together, it's hard to imagine all that goes into it, and I would guess they thought quite long and hard about it.:) But that's just me.

agh, tracie, even thinking about those small number of hours until we hear new notes from coldplay gives me a heart attack. i just...ohmygod, i can't wait.
