NEW COLDPLAY SITE! HUGE UPDATE! ARTWORK REVEALED!

Featured Replies

They probably realized we could get to it... same thing happened with slenderfungus and the old web designs. People could get onto it for a while but then they removed it.

Yeah that's been showing up since the site changed

WHAT ARE YOU GUYS TALKING ABOUT?

UNDER 6 HOURS NOWWWW

HELLO CHRISTINE!!

YES IT IS 6 HOURS

YOU WILL SPAM PARTY WITH ME???

I'll attempt translate this to the best of my abilities;

The album we just finished hearing, thanks to the courtesy of the authors, Starts off with a beautiful "life in technicolor", turned into virtually an instrumental, eventhough you hear martin [say] "Baby , this world is very violent". The instrumental has a melody, that reminds Coldplay of "Parachutes". Chris Martin in his very own Stylistic revolution, didn't want to sing it even though it had lyrics, fearful that he might remember old songs like "yellow". He had to break the mold.

The whole album has the key of having more voilent guitars, more meaninful, and "backin-tracks" that are more daring, than the previous sentimental outlines of earlier albums. Its like coldplay had planed a sound that is comparable to the large stadium acts. The step or the course pending the group. The attempt of being u2 or the rolling sotnes in large stadiums

This style is very noticeable in their first single, the first star theme "voilet hill" that is being given away free at their own website of the band. If they pretended to surprise [everyone] with "Violet hill" they have accomplished it. All of the stigma of the theme resounds power, anger, almost like a conversation, "If you love me, Why dont you let me know let me [get to] know myself"

All of the final [part of the] album is like a suite that finishes of on the title of frida kahlos painting " Viva la vida and death and all his friends". Its a sounding glance at new musical uncertainties, which have new tendencies in which the music can travel. And of course, not with the karaoke "la liberte guidant le people"

Tough translation :S

thanks

Not sure if you guys saw this already (I really don't want to look through 13 million pages of replies) but I found this quite interesting. It's not fake, believe me - it was on the coldplay.com servers. Apparently, free Violet Hill downloads was going to be a subscription thing! Cool.

But nowhere violet hill can be found...

How did you get that?!

Some clever deduction based on the HTML ;)

It seems Slender Fungus decided to leave that on the server, just in case they decided to change it last minute?

Yeah, i've already found that on the server ( like 18 pages ago:D)

lol I knew someone would have had to already found this! :D

But yes... Violet Hill... is like 2 and a quarter hours away from now! AAGGHH i cant stay up for that much longer! it's 2AM here lol
