I'd love if the venues were filled of true fans! That would be amazing!! I'm not going to be there (since I live in Brazil), but I'd feel a lot happier knowing the audience was made of fans! I hope they find a way to avoid people selling their tickets... if that happens I bet prices will be extremely high! And the sellers would have gotten the tickets for free... 100% profit. That would be really sad.

 

I hope many people from this forum get tickets and pleeeeeease don't forget to take lots of pics and record lots of videos!!

I think considering the fact that I go to school in the city my chances are pretty good. But if it was up to me, it would definitely go to all the true members of Coldplay.

then you run into the question of what makes somebody a true fan?

 

no matter how they decide to do this, many and i do mean many people are going to be pretty angry with how it will be handled.

 

i would love to go to the show at msg but i know the chances aren't that great. time will tell...

Around the time X&Y came out, I actually won tickets to a free gig at the Beacon in NYC. It was I think one of those AOL Live concerts. I was so excited:o LOL never won anything like that before, and for my fave band?!? It was a bleeping dream come true! I HAVE to go to the MSG show. Lightning can strike twice, right???

 

When they give tix away for this stuff it's so much fun, 'cause you know the people there are actual fans, not like at a regular show where half the people are there 'cause their signifcant other is a fan, or they're industry types who have season tickets or something...

alright i can't take this anymore... i need to know how they are gunna do this. i just can't take the suspense anymore... i want it to be a DEFINATE fact that i'm going to this concert... not just 'if i can get tickets... im going.' plus if i can't get tickets i just want to get it over with so i can stop getting my hopes up. when are they going to announce the details!?!?

perhaps they'll do what they did for the Zeppelin concert, where you enter your name to them and then the pick randomly giving you a set # of tickets

They need to decide soon, as people need to make travel arrangements... not everyone can afford last minute expensive flight tickets! Please, whoever is in charge of this! Or pass the message to the proper person in charge! Unless the majority of the tickets are for media and corporate with big expense accounts! haha... it wouldn't really hurt me if they announce it really close to the date because ill probably just take the train which doesn't change in cost TOO much. however, due to extreme impatience i would prefer sooner rather than later.
