April 29, 200818 yr Someone has probably already mentioned this already, but I wanted to bring it up in a thread. One of my initial reactions when i first heard this song at 7 on Radio 1 was that this song was made for live performances, especially large venues. I can't really explain it, but something about the guitar and heavy bass make me think so. Who agrees?
April 29, 200818 yr I definitely agree... it almost sounds like it wants to be played at 50x its normal volume.
April 29, 200818 yr I was thinking the same thing. They'll probably open their shows wth it like they did with Square 1. And it will absolutely shake the arena! I think it may even be better live than on the album because it's meant for that.
April 29, 200818 yr I see what you mean. I remember reading in Q (I think) a few months back that the album was build around the idea of playing it live.
April 29, 200818 yr Sigh another evening of you winding others up for your own entertainment...get a girlfriend/boyfriend perhaps? Or a couple of friends? Stop pulling our pigtails cos you secretly love us and go talk to some real people ;)

April 29, 200818 yr Another thread ruined. Sigh. IF a thread is not full of "oh my god" "oh my gosh" "i can't believe it" it's ruined ?
April 29, 200818 yr Great song :D would sound even better live as you said. Allthough I loved speed of sound, it wasnt that great live and didnt really have an edge to it, sounded better on radio :P Looking foward to when they first play it live!

April 29, 200818 yr IF a thread is not full of "oh my god" "oh my gosh" "i can't believe it" it's ruined ?Not all threads need to be full of smart-arse remarks, either.
April 29, 200818 yr yeah, deffinently was listening to it on whileys show and i was thinking the last record suffered about 10% because they were concentrating on how it would sound live and it appears with this first track the problem may have reappeared

April 29, 200818 yr So anyway, back to the topic on hand (Please?). Does anyone think "Life In Technicolor" will still be played live, even though it is said to only be an instrumental? I'm just think, because it opens the album, it should be epic as well.
April 29, 200818 yr It could be the opening music, just before they come on, played into the auditorium maybe?
