I have not heard the album yet (as most of everyone here) but I say the second or third song

Square One's gone. Kabam. Don't even ask. I'm pretty sure that's certain

 

Politik might work, but we'll have to see what these new songs will be

Would love them to open with Politik again, such a brilliant start to a concert but I think they will open most if not all shows on this tour with VH which still will be a great opener!

I think maybe Violet hill maybe one for opening. In its sort of heavy opening sound like politik. They may well add on a sound set up like they did with yellow in 2003, spies etc. Would work well as a opening song, not so sure about closing. But still reckon it will sound good live. Hope we dont loose Fix you and some of the others that may get pushed to the back.

Violet Hill to open, followed by Politik. Maybe Square One would follow?

Violet Hill will be towards the beginning! I think that's a fact!

I dont think that they will open with violet hill....it doesnt seem like the right opener. I think that Life In Technicolor will be the opener for the new tour. There has been a pattern with the last two tours that they open with the first song off the new album. (Politik for the AROBTTH tour and Square one for X&Y)

 

I hope they dont eliminate Square One, its one of my favorite songs by them.

My guess would be somin' like Talk, In My Place, or Yellow would be an opener, although I think Lost would be a sweet first song, then number two would be Violet Hill. But you can't forget, Strawberry Swing is on the way. ;)

So many possibilities! But, my take:

 

1) Square One

 

2) Violet Hill

 

3) Politik

 

For the best opening ever to any gig, anywhere :-)

I doubt Coldplay will perform Square One or Politik as much as we'd like during the Viva La Vida tour.

 

The set-list will open something like this...

 

1. Life In Technicolour

 

2. Violet Hill

 

3. GPASUYF

 

4. Lost!

 

Etc

i dont get why so many people are including Lost! in their setlist predictions... we havent even heard the whole song yet.

I think they will Open with Politik as always then VH for the arena shows. But i think they might pull a Vertigo and open And close with VH...
