ok so somebody said it would work with Gmail.

 

so I now have a google mail account and have signed up for that, I'll let you know if it works,

 

anybody know how long they waited roughly for their email?

 

My email came about a minute after I signed up for it.

 

Are people having problems with it? :\

I never got mine through using hotmail

 

but with Gmail, it took 20 mins.

 

maybe ign up for a Gmail?

Once at MSG and twice at Nassau col. 3rd, 5th and 20th row!!!! I think explorer is the answer, Tanya try it!!

 

I saw them at the Beacon, MSG, and Nassau (as per my signature).

 

Good story about the Beacon- I snuck in! Since I didn't have seats I blended in with people in the aisles on the floor and crept my way right up to the stage! Easily the best night of my life. :-D How did you get such good seats for MSG and Nassau? I had floor seats for MSG but they were like 15 rows back and at Nassau I had pretty close seats, like the second section up right to the side of the stage. But at MSG I was only a couple of rows in front of the sound booth and when Chris ran back there during In My Place he stood on the booth and I almost died. Anyway. I love Coldplay. And thanks Melanieau again!!!! You're my hero!

I'm using both. Never got mine through hotmail either unfortunately.

Yeah, i tried with Gmail 35 minutes ago, so I'm still waiting. We'll see how this goes.

OFFICIAL RULES FOR THE COLDPLAY FREE CONCERT AT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN CONTEST

 

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

 

By entering or participating in the Coldplay Free Concert at Madison Square Garden Contest (the "Contest"), you agree to all of the following rules:

 

How to Enter. No purchase is necessary to enter the Contest. Enter the Contest on-line by going to http://www.coldplay.com/msg____________________. Click on the "Enter Contest!" button and fill out the entry form. Any error or omission in the information on the entry form shall void the entry. Limit one entry per person. If multiple entries are received from any person, only one entry will qualify for the random drawing. By participating, all entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules.

 

Eligibility. The Contest is open to U.S. residents, 18 years of age or older. Proof of age shall be required. Employees of Coldplay, Inc., Musictoday.com, Inc. ("Musictoday") and its affiliates, employees of any prize sponsor and its affiliates, and members of such employees' immediate families or households are ineligible to participate in this Contest.

 

Prize Deadlines. All entries for the Contest must be received by Musictoday on or before 11:59pm (EST) 5/31/2008. Winner will be selected from a random drawing scheduled to be held June 5, 2008.

 

Winner Selection and Notification. The odds of winning are dependent upon the number of eligible entries received. Any attempted second entry shall be discarded and the entrant may be disqualified from the Contest. All drawings will be conducted under the supervision of Coldplay, Inc. The decisions of Coldplay, Inc. are final and binding in all matters relating to this Contest. Entries are the property of Coldplay, Inc and will not be returned. Entrants need not be present at the drawing to win a prize. Winner will be notified by phone, e-mail or United States mail. Prizes. Stated values represent approximated retail value.

 

First Prize: 3500 first prize winners will each receive one (1) pair of tickets to the Coldplay concert at Madison Square Garden scheduled to take place on Jun 23, 2008. (Value: $0 no value)

 

Grand Prize: One (1) grand prize winners will receive two (2) premium tickets for the MSG show, two (2) coach class round trip airfares to NYC, two (2) nights in a standard, double occupancy room at a hotel in New York City. (Value: $ TBD)

 

Grand prize winner must be eighteen (18) years of age or be accompanied by a parent or guardian. All travel companions must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.

 

All entrants understand that travel contains some inherent element of risk, accident, illness, injury, loss or death, which may be caused by negligence, forces of nature, wild animals or other agencies, known or unknown, All entrants and winners understand that these risks may be present before, during and after the trip.

 

General Conditions. This Contest is void where and to the extent prohibited by law and is subject to all applicable laws, including, without limitation, federal, state, and local laws and regulations. In the event of non-compliance by any winner with the official rules of this Contest, an alternate winner shall be selected. Prizes are non-transferable. Return of any prize or prize notification as undeliverable will result in a disqualification of the winner and an alternate winner shall be selected. All prizes will be awarded. Releases. UK Rules:

You may apply only once. Multiple applications will be disqualified.

 

Each successful applicant will received 2 tickets to see Coldplay @ Carling Academy Brixton on Monday 16 June 2008.

 

Each successful applicant must when entering the venue on the night have a valid form of ID which correlates to the name on the ticket. Failure to provide relevant ID (UK driving license, UK passport, Coldplay Fan Club card) will invalidate both tickets and the person will be refused entry.

 

Each successful applicant must enter the venue with the person holding the second ticket. If the person with the second ticket is not with the successful applicant ( with relevant ID) then that ticket will be invalidated and that person refused entry.

 

The reselling of these tickets is strictly prohibited and tickets will be invalidated.

 

All applicants must be over 14 and with valid ID.

 

Under 21's must provide valid ID to purchase alcohol.

 

Normal venue ticket conditions apply.

 

WOW this has turned in to psycho land. Everybody just take a deep breath.

 

First YOU HAVE UNTIL THE END OF THE MONTH. I'm sure the emails are slow because their site is getting hammered. It took me 3 days to get my Violet Hill email, but it came. So if you signed up, stay calm .

 

Is the contest only open to US/UK residents. Not sure, it says on the MSG rules US residents only, and doesn't say yes or no on UK rules, just that you have to show an ID to prove who you are and your age. If you want to sign up, sign up. It's not like they are going to send a death squad over to kill your family if you sign up. But be prepared to be rejected if you don't fit the rules. They are there on the site and you have to tick the box saying you agree when you sign up. I have posted copies of the rules above.

 

If you panicked and signed up 5 times and got 5 emails, you may only want to confirm one of them to keep from being booted out. You will get an email with a link asking to to "verify", click the link. You will then get a second email saying you are "confirmed".

 

The puzzle reveals more pieces as people sign up. Last night it was 1% and now there is more. You don't have to do anything other than sign up. If the contest runs all month, it may take until then to reveal the entire thing.

 

Did I mention to calm down and breathe? :D

Yah, I'd also like to figure out how to unlock stuff. I have NO idea what to do with the Facebook code they gave.

 

I only have 4% done, and it's a picture of Reign of Love, and Cemeteries of London.

 

I got the Life In Technicolor vid off someone.

 

What do you do to get more stuff?
