PLEASE!!!!!!!! Can someone explain a step-by-step on this contest?? I don't undrestand a thing of what's happening, I read something about Life In Technicolor being unveiled, but the link eas removed until Coldplay.com officially realeses it, so who posted it on the forum??

 

Then, I signed up on the official coldplay.com, but i haven't gotten my e-mail notification, and then the official page transfers me to the puzzle, but I click on the parts that have been unlocked and nothing happens, so I'm not getting anything....

I DO see the Reign Of Love and Cementeries of London pics, but I don't understand how can we unlock mthe rest of the pictures, like do we need to do anything or just wait until they unlock them all??

Here is the deal. Coldplay changed their website to take submissions for the free tickets.

 

You sign up, and an email will be sent to your email. For some people, it takes forever. Use Gmail. That seems to work for everyone. Hotmail seems to loose it, or, for whatever reason, doesn't work.

 

The puzzle it then takes you to is a new Coldplay surprise. I BELIEVE that as people sign up, more and more of the puzzle becomes available. Right now, the brixton puzzle, which you see when you click to sign up for the brixton concert is at 9 percent. You should be able to see, like, a picture of Reign of Love, and Cemeteries of London. Also, there are some other random pics.

 

Eventually, as the percentage get higher, and the puzzle gets more and more completed, we will get videos and stuff. Nothing should happen when you click on the solved spots other than the pictures showing up.

 

The Life in Technicolor video was found by someone, no doubt looking at the source code, or something similar, and was posted. I personally saw it and found it to be, quite frankly, astounding. It gave me shivers, it was so good. But its better if we dont talk about it until it is released by Coldplay.

THANKS A LOT!!!! It did help me.... now, I just found a video on some page (I'm not going to say which one, since everyone is keeping it until it's officially revealed) that said "LIFE IN TECHNICOLOR ROUGH CUT", and it was the band playing an instrumental piece....is that the video everyone's talking about?? If so, I loved the instrumental piece and as you said, it's astounding....

I'm very confused :)

Just wanted to add that the "hackers" aren't anyone special or intelligent, they just (I won't get into details) use a free program which reverse-engineers compresses .swf files back to their editable .fla (Flash) files. The Flash files contain everything, and if it isn't an object in the flash file, then there's info regarding where to find it.

 

Thankfully, the people behind Coldplay's website have things controlled as far as the videos go; they took them off the web and will put them back up as they are officially unlocked.
