You know you're addicted to Coldplay when...

Hm, Phil (philly) would be nice.

But it's gonna be a girl...

I'm like looking for a cute name, that in first place doesn't have anything to do with Coldplay, but that will secretly remind me of coldplay everytime I hear it.

I also thought about Paradise. not really a name and a little too obvious given it's a recent song.

Maybe I should go through older songs and lyrics...

If it was gonna be a boy, the first thing I would've said is Charlie Brown! :laugh3:

Seeing as that's not the case though, I thought about it a little and came up with a name that might fit your requirements: Strawberry.

Pretty easy to remember Strawberry Swing with that name. I dunno if that'd be a good name for a ferret, though. I'll let you be the judge!

You know when you're addicted to Coldplay when you're on this forum almost everyday.

Thanks for thinking with me!

I like strawberry, but I'm not sure if it'll fit for a ferret too.

But thanks for the suggestion!

When your son rolls his eyes at you for being excited over being given beeper numer 42 while we wait for a table at the Longhorn Steakhouse. :D

When finding out you won't be seeing them after all throws you into a major depression.

^^ I know the feeling... :(

When they stare at you trying to figure out why the xylobands excite you so much... even when you do not get the chance to go to a concert to get one...

and when you turn your brother, cousins and friends into Coldplayers!!!! :laugh3:

My friend said she could get our tickets, and she has in the past, but I had a chance to BUY a pair and double-checked with her. 'ARE YOU SURE I don't need to buy them?' She said yes. But now she's unable to get any. I won't have enough money before the show to buy them now. I''m actually surprised at how upset I am.

Anyway, sorry to whine.

Tracie, I'm sorry to hear that.

And it double-sucks that you explicitly asked her about it...

I think there's just one thing I can do for you: :hug::hug:

Although it's probably not sufficient, but ok...

JEEZ.. that sucks! Where does she live? :veryangry2::veryangry2::lol:

No, joking. I hope everything turns out well!!

To toront? Uh, I can't afford to get there, let alone buy a ticket at this point. Just lost both t his weekend's gigs, so not getting my hopes up. But may stay off the forum that night.

Sorry to hear that Tracie, I know you were willing to go to hell and back for a ticket. Miracles can happen you know, and remember, everything's not lost! There's going to be another tour, plus the DVD!

And you were at the most amazing gig ever! [(Well...at the least for me) And I'll envy you forever for this ]

But don't stop hope, I wasn't supposed to go 'till 5 days before the gig!

Thanks.:) It's just been such a hellish week on so many fronts that this was like a final blow. At least I had it to l ook forward to when everything else sucked. I'd volunteer to work the show, but I don't drive, and my friend who was going to get the tickets doesn't want to work the show. I'm almost ready to hitchhike to Toronto and busk for a ticket, lol.

When posting a number ending in '42' in the counting threads makes you irrationally happy and you have to highlight it.:D

Been there, done that. Late January/Early February was an absolutely hellish time of my life (probably the worst), but things are finally starting to swing upwards now. Whatever's going on, you'll get through it for (as my dad is fond of saying) one reason: you have to.

You know you and your friends are addicted to Coldplay when one of them frantically texts you in the middle of class to tell you that her supply teacher looks just like Will, and you text back with the same amount of fangirlish glee demanding pictures
