We're pleased to confirm that Coldplay's next UK single will be Life In Technicolor ii. The track will be released on 7-inch vinyl and digital bundle on Monday February 2nd. The B-side of the 7-inch will be The Goldrush, a song which is previously unheard, unreleased and unperformed. As well as that track, the digital bundle will contain Life In Technicolor ii (Live @ The O2, London). We'll have the video on the site for you in the next couple of weeks, but in the meantime the artwork for the 7-inch vinyl is below... It's funny, because I've lately been thinking about that it's been a long time since Coldplay have had actors in their music videos. Well (maybe except The Hardest part with the dancers and hosts :P), they haven't had an actor since God Put a Smile upon Your Face in 2003.

We're very pleased to note that Coldplay's current album, Viva La Vida, has been named the biggest selling album of 2008. The band have asked us to thank everyone who made this happen.
