why I'm such a bad person if I download the album when it leaks? I don't understand!!!

I am buying the album anyways when it comes out to sale on my country (surely many many days after June 12, since I live in South America)!!!

I just can't wait anymore and want to hear the new Coldplay material all day long!!! The band can be sure that I'm the most loyal fan on earth and I would never steal a cent from them, because they deserved every nickel they get for creating such a wonderful music!!!

cheers!!!

i thought about that whole downloading thing just recently and i agree with coldplay. they're just advertising their music at the end of the day.

that's probably why there's musicians who release an album, but can't be bothered to release singles or even shoot vidoes.

they make most of they're money touring.

thing is that most people on here love coldplay and will buy the album anyway and they're just going to download the leak because they love their music so much and cannot wait for the actual release date.

even if the leak was shit we'd still buy the album.

I think the point Bart was making was that it is better to wait until the album is released to hear the songs, so that there is something to look forward to, instead of listening to half of it before it is released, right? I don't know lol.

yes this is what I mean !!

Yay, do I win a prize :D

Yea !! A free trip to Barcelona to come and see COLDPLAY

he has an angry mob to deal with.

and by "angry mob" I mean

"group of coldplay fans who will politely tell him that he is wrong and then laugh about it over tea later"

this quote is forever brilliant

Coldplay fans! Unite!

Gather your pitchforks and torches! **

**Please be mindful of the sharp edges and fire hazards. If you prefer, carry a handful of Q-tips, instead. Taco Bell hot sauce may be substituted for fire.

Like I said on another thread similar to this one, I don't think it's 'wrong' to download a leak if you're going to buy the album anyway, but I personally hope to avoid a leak for as long as I can until 'Christmas Day',lol. I shared LIT with people without having heard it myself because I wanted to save it for when it was legitimate to hear according to the band's timeline. You can't judge in this day and age, but as usual, it's a matter of opinion.

If there's a full leak, I'll probably DL it and try to wait anyway...I've done that with leaks before. Sometimes just knowing I could listen to it makes me able to wait.:)

Or even give away their new album for free over the internet/with a newspaper

they make most of their money from touring

man.. I am starting to dislike how every little single thing is starting to become "Well if you were a true blablabla" "if you were true you wouldn't blabalbala" and I'm not just talking about Coldplay but anything in general.:dozey:

^Yeah that is true.....
