Jen just texted me saying it was so so so so so good and Franksy stood next to her at one point, so she said hello to him :D

Jen went? :stunned:

No, no, not that Jen. I mean Fudge!! :nice: Jen/Jenny...

Oooooooh! Aww I'm glad she had sun :D

When was the lst time they played scotland? :\

I think it was Bellahouston Park in July 2005. Same weekend as Live 8

That was one of te best shows I've ever been to! 5th time seeing them live. Twice at T, supporting U2 at Slane Castle and last time at Bellahouston Park. This was the first indoor gig so I've been looking forward to for months. When we took to our seats (section K) I noticed there was a bit boxed off in the section next to me. I was 90% certain that they would play there and they did. What a buzz!!! If I wasn't so financially tight with Xmas I would be there again on Tuesday night but I'll just have to wait for Hampden now instead. Pics & Vids ot follow but now I'm away to get some rest for Kings of Leon tomorrow. Its the Carlsberg weekend for me :)

^ooooh next to the C stage!!! Bet it was great :nice:

I hope Jen doesn't mind me telling whats she's said... haha... she got lots of nice Guy pics apparently :drunk:

Yeah fantastic! Took a lot of folk by surprise but I sat there smugly thinking 'Told you!!' lol

They even paid a wee tribute to Travis during Green Eyes by singing 'Why Does It Always Rain On Me' in one of the lines! Nice!

Ahhh nice!! That sounds funny.

What band will he sing about next? haha :D

When I went to Sheffield this time last week, me and my friend entered the arena coincidentally through doors next to where Hoppy the guitar technician was setting up their guitars on the c stage!! I wanted to say something to him, but what  . It was cool to see their guitars up close. :nice:

lol was he trying to be all discreet and stuff as well.

Yeah was great seeing them so close up. Made a huge big gig seem that bit more intimate.

sooo I'm FUCKING shattered and should be in bed, but........

Just had to come on here :laugh3:

That was just the best I've seen them! :D Such a great atmosphere. Everyone was dancing and singing, really up for it. I'm just ecstatic they played Green Eyes...I won't even begin to tell you. Have sooo many videos but have pretty much broken my friend's puter trying to upload them so I'll hold off for when I get home!

Thought I'd post these tho! My seats were further back but we went down the front towards the end - no one bothered! :laugh3: Twas AWESOME!

and it's okay about the Jonny pic, haha, I remember the times I tried to take a good Will pic for you and failed miserably.

Did Chris say any particularly funny things this evening?

he was changing lyrics all over the joint. It's a bit of a blur....lol

He said something about being away from Tunnocks Caramel Wafers compared to this song - the hardest part lol

Have to say the oddest (and also the funniest) part of the night was the couple sat to my right who left after 6 songs. They were all tarted up. You could tell they hadn't been to a rock concert before lets put it that way. She had the fur coat and all the bling on her fingers and probably elsewhere too (I never asked lol) and was so pissed off cos folk were standing in front of her. They buggered off never to be seen again lol! Was cool cos we could move about a bit more.

Who leaves a gig after 25 mins anyway?? Pair of fuds!

ha..love that word!

there was a couple next to us sitting down for most of it but everyone else was up dancing and singing. Dancing in the aisles and everything....twas great!!

Was it a leopard print fur coat? because I saw a woman like that at Birmingham tottering around on some heels, looking stupid. Perhaps it's one of the boy's relatives......LOL, I hope not.

Were you on the floor or in the stands? Think I would have did what you did and went down the front as well if nobody was stopping me but not so easy when you're in the tiers lol. Have to say everybody was up dancing where I was too. Think I sat for about a minute of a song but that was just to sort out the settings on my camera.

Just uploading my pics but nowhere near as good as yours. Not too shabby seeing as I was at the back mind you lol. Get the whole stage in as well so it shows a different perspective.

Nah it was a black number. To be honest it looked like he's got the tickets as a business perk. She was telling him to tell the others to sit down (all 10000 of us lol) and he just stood up and then did nothing lol.

I'm horrible at remembering setlists but it seemed the same as Birmingham except Speed Of Sound was played on the main stage and not acoustically
