Featured Replies

go to your itunes and click on play count... what coldplay song is your most played right now and what song (any artist) is your most played over all?

  • Author

wow big surprise ;) mine was amsterdam, big surprise there too right, hah

on this computer, my most frequently played coldplay song is "the scientist" at 90, and radiohead's "let down" is the overall most frequently played song at 95. i've only had this computer since october, though, so i guess that's not surprising. (interestingly enough, "VLV" is my 4th most listened to song at 89 listens! "warning sign" is third at 89 too)

on my old computer, though...oh goodness. you should SEE the numbers in that itunes. last time i checked, i'd listened to "yellow" over 300 times...lots of other coldplay songs are in that range as well.

My three most played songs overall are all Coldplay:

1. Violet Hill (i just couldn't get enough of it when it was released)

2. Yellow (fav. song of all time bar-none)

3. Viva la vida (love it!)

4. Weird fishes/Arpeggi by Radiohead

5. Sparks

my itunes had to be reloaded so many times bc it sucks that i dont have a real official count from when i first got it :/

yea my itunes also has died on me a few times but going by last.fm... white shadows is my #1 coldplay song and Australia (by The Shins) is my #1 overall song. but really its not that legit because i got my itunes right before the new shins cd came out and the million times i listened to every x&y song (when it first came out) and other coldplay before that isnt accounted for. but on my most recent itunes count VlV is #1 overall... k thats enough of the history of my itunes haha.

The top ten songs and number of times that they have been played on my iTunes in the last four years. Only one of these is not a Coldplay song. Go figure! :P

Fix You!!!

I know some people hate this song because it got over played on the radio! But I can't hide the fact that it was my favourite X & Y song - and I couldn't stop hearing to it for a long long time!!!

cheers!

The Bends by Radiohead is tops at 90.

See You Soon (Live) is top Coldplay song at 4 listens.

On my old computer I had Fix You at around 300 I think. I've got my new MacBook now so the most is Viva la Vida at 45 :D

I thought I'd have a song with more than 4! But I guess not. I haven't really listened to them much on this computer as I haven't really listened to them much since Grade 12.

Haha, well at least you picked a quality song to play so many times . See You Soon is one of my personal favourites.

Yup, same hehe.

Right now when I listen to them I prefer to just listen to Live 2003 as I fall asleep.

clocks

dont panic

politik

speed of sound

karma police (radiohead)

trouble

your eyes open (keane)

I ran away

In my place

Fun thread (: M.

its interesting, violet hill is number one:

itunes: top 5 all songs

1.-violet hill ..................................................151

2.-history (funeral for a friend).....................123

3.-no importa (alejandro sanz).....................118

4.-Swallowed In The Sea (Live in Holland)....118

5.-when you're gone (avril lavigne)...............117 ???' this is weird

top 5 lastFm:

1 Coldplay – Violet Hill .........................171

2 Avril Lavigne – When You're Gone ...122

3 Funeral for a Friend – History ..........120

4 Coldplay – Viva La Vida (New Edit) ..117

5 Pink Floyd – Hey You ........................114

Violet Hill is my number one played song by them. This is because I haven't had ITunes for very long and there has been a lack of Coldplay in my life until recently. When I first got ITunes, I was starting to listen to a lot of new music. I've especially been listening to a lot more classic rock lately (Beatles, Bob Dylan, Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, etc.). 2nd is Viva la Vida...but I'm attempting to avoid listening to them until the album is released!!

....we'll see how long that lasts, haha.

Anyway...top played is a 3 way tie...

1. I Should Have Known Better- The Beatles

2. D.A.N.C.E.- Justice

3. Lullaby- Loudon Wainwright III

All tied with 18 listens.....like I said...I haven't had Itunes for THAT long...

Mine are:

Violet Hill: 83

Don't Panic: 77

She Came in Through the Bathroom Window (Beatles): 76

Overkill (acoustic, Colin Hay): 76

Viva La Vida: 75

Ha this is fun.

The Scientist.

It's always the most played.

That song is one of the most beautiful and sad songs I've ever heard in my entire life. The lyrics "go back to the start" can mean so many things to so many people. Everyone at some point or another would just like another chance, to go back to the start.

Second place goes to Clocks. That song chills me out and makes me feel great.

Third place goes to Violet Hill. I think this song is amazing but I'm trying not to listen to it or Viva La Vida too much before I get my hands on the physical album.

A Rush of Blood to the Head has been leading 119x played. It's always been in the lead though... Green Eyes SURPRISINGLY has 111... *sigh* why did my ex have to have green eyes?

'See You Soon', 'Moses', and 'For You' according to my last fm. But I don't listen to my cds on the computer, so there aren't any album tracks on the list at all.

1. Don't Panic (185 plays)

2. High Speed (94 plays)

3. Daylight (92 plays)

4. Sparks (89 plays)

5. Clocks (89 plays)

6. See You Soon (79 plays)

7. Feel Good Inc. - Gorillaz (76 plays)

8. For You (70 plays)

9. Word Dissasociation - Lemon Demon (67 plays)

10. Amsterdam (64 plays)

Nothing can possibly surpass Don't Panic :dozey:
