We, the undersigned, object to the UK tour "no fans' pre-sale", "no standing" policy!

If you disapprove of the decision not to have a pre-sale or standing areas on the new tour, please add your name here.

You never know - if there is enough dissent, somebody out there might take notice and it might at least help us next time around.

I can see no reason why at least some of the big venues in Germany have standing areas, but not those in the UK. I'm lucky enough to have a "standing" ticket for one of the German shows, but would have liked to at least have had the opportunity to try for one in the UK too.

Please note that this is about tour policy, and is in no way a criticism of the band themselves.

I'm pretty sure they're far too busy to be concerned with things of this nature and are not to blame.........................................

ah this is the rite place. so i cant understand why there is no standing tickets for uk, not that im going there, a friend is, im going to germany and *praying* Portugal. that would be impossible to happen in Portugal, i saw some fights on the "non-standing" because people there were all standing and the nerds want them to be sat :S. dunno if u get my point. good luck for those who r buying their tickets today :D

This isn't so much the tour policy but the O2 Arena box office. I know i got really good seats but what they do in terms of payment is cheeky. Everyone knows buying tickets is expensive but there is a sign at the box office that says, if you buy with credit/debit card we will add a 12% charge to your tickets for handling. My girlfriend had got out cash for two tickets this meant i had to pay on card making my tickets technically £48 instead of £42.50. Hardly anyone carries cash for buying tickets and O2 know this and should be ashamed of themselves

THERE SHOULD BE STANDING! *bangs fist on table*

i genuinely thought there was something wrong with the ticket sites when i didn't see standing tickets.

i don't care what they say, wherever i've been allocated, i shall stand!

Still not the same atmosphere as when you're huddled together with loads of other people, though. There are too many gaps.;)

I'm with you, I'm pretty disappointed of how everything went :

Thinking that I'm actually LUCKY to have a seat on a day I'm not even sure I'll be free, which was expensive and which turned out to be a quite high place whereas I wanted to be (standing) on the floor.

Anyway I hope we'll get to know soon why this tour is all seated (there must be a reason, magic balls or anything?) cause I guess much more people could have get a ticket if it had been standing ;)

i think everyone should stand anyway, then we can all huddle together in neat rows :P

Nice idea, but it won't happen. The other problem is that in a designated standing area, everyone is of the same mind (it's no coincidence they went for that option).

I've been in seats before where the people around have all been fuddy-duddies with no life in them!! Some of them won't even stand up, which kills the "micro" atmosphere.

It's pot-luck whether you end up in a row with like-minded individuals!!:(

Don't forget that I might have a spare ticket for one of the other dates if the one you have isn't convenient.

yeah i had that at Wembley when i went to see muse. The oldies next to me were tutting and grumbling...however i carried on singing and jumping up and down. :laugh3: it's a gig! people should be dancing!

but knowing my luck, i will be surrounded by OAPs at the O2. :stunned:

You're so kind, but don't worry about me cause I won't get to know that before few days/week !

We should all stand on our seats and jump twice as much as we'd like to in order to show how annoyed we are hehe

Sorry for going a little of subject. I know this isn't directly at the organisers but i just want to say this:

I have just looked on eBay and tickets for the same block as me at the O2 Arena are on 'buy it now' prices of £350-£400 for 2 tickets. What really upsets me is that because of my seats i must of been standing amongst these people this morning and saw them. You just knew they were all touts especially when security announced you needed photo ID there were a few panics. I know it must be hard for very rich people not to want front block seats but if they are boycotted these people cannot sell these tickets on for such a large profit. I hate the way some of the people i was standing around live in the surrounding area and probably do this for all the big events as they live near an arena.

And infact i've clicked on one of the sellers and they have various tickets for other O2 arena events such as Lee Evans and Tina Turner. They are complete scum. I am so for a system where you need your photo on the ticket.
