Whats up with Lost! ive already seen the video in mtv and the song didnt chart yett intiially in us or uk??

Lost! seems to have flopped actually, very strange since it sounded like it would be a commercial success but it seems to have failed

Lost! was sent for Alternative radio in the US and it peaked only at #21 so far. :\

On the Triple A format, it peaked at #3.

 

Viva La Vida single made the success of this album there.

Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends sold 68.000 copies this week and it's still the top selling release of 2008, since until now 5.856.400 copies have been sold. The record estabilshed by Coldplay, about the copies sold world-wide in the first week after the release, has been broken by AC/DC that sold 1.774.000 copies of their last album 'Black Ice', (against 1.585.000 of Chris Martin's band).

 

In UK, the sold copies amount to 951.000, in USA to 1.845.750.

 

The single Viva La Vida is still selling with flying colors (5.900.000 copies): this week it scored No.1 in Czech Republic and Polynesia, No.2 in Philippines and No.3 in Turkey. The hit sold 256.225 in UK and 2.513.024 in USA (8th among the ever top-rewarding downloads); in Switzerland the title-track of the last album of the band reached gold (15.000 copies).

 

Lost! is making its way in the world charts. In the Euro 200 Charts it climbed up 40 positions (from 194th to 154th). It's going well also in Chile (No. 73), in Estonia (No.27) and in the Mediabase Triple A Chart (No.3). Not to mention its debut in the single chart of Venezuela at No.15.

 

The popularity of the fourth single of Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends, Lovers In Japan, is growing fast. It just happened to be at No.97 of the top-liked single chart of Japan, and it hit it big in the japanese International Radio Airplay Chart (where is at No.29) too.

 

It's confirmed the new record in sales of the first single Violet Hill, with 135.000 copies in UK and 425.000 in USA.

 

The Live 2003 Dvd is again in the limelight, since it's at No.1 in the top-selling dvd chart in Italy and it reached platinum for the fourth time in Australia, with 60.000 copies.

It's an hypotetic sum of all the sales in the main states (Usa, Uk, Australia, Canada, Japan, France, Denmark, Sweden and so on...)

Maybe we were wrong Lost! will take effect later than expected with Lovers in Japan Later more..... Viva was released in may and it started to take effect only in July to August......So Lets expect lost to chart nextime .. im mistaken...

 

Viva no2 ??? in my country wow!... Its been amazing here back in auagust now its dissaperaed completely out of the radios... so i never expected that....

 

Lost! is getting very light yet to become heavier in the next days in radio play here.. I love LOst! By the way... its a hypnotic song really
