RED CARD FOR ARSENAL - Crystal Palace 0-1 Arsenal - Mikel Arteta

The home team concede a corner but Marouane Chamakh clears the danger. Palace sense an opportunity to counter-attack and the Moroccan sprints towards the other end before being felled by Mikel Arteta.

Marouane Chamakh was some distance from the box when he was stopped in his tracks. The striker was perhaps 40 yards or so from goal, but he would have been clear had the Arsenal midfielder, who significanly was the last man, not tackled him.

GOAL - Manchester United 0-1 Stoke - Peter Crouch

Well, would you Adam and Eve it? After a promising start, it all goes horribly wrong for David Moyes and his United team. Stoke left-back Erik Pieters scampers down the left to drill in a teasing cross which Jonny Evans thwacks against Peter Crouch - and the ball goes into the home net. That is Crouch's first Premier League goal at Old Trafford, where he has netted eight times for England. Unfortunately the 'Robot' was not busted out...

GOAL - Man Utd 1-1 Stoke - Robin van Persie (43 mins)

Relief around Old Trafford! In fact the feeling of relief is almost palpable in our BBC Sport office across the Manchester Ship Canal. Robin van Persie smashes in from close range after Asmir Begovic parries Wayne Rooney's header.

GOAL - Man Utd 1-2 Stoke - Marko Arnautovic (44 mins)

Ah. That relief has swiftly disappeared. Amazing. Manchester United are not level for long. Phil Jones gives away a needless free-kick on the edge of the area and Marko Arnautovic steps up to bend a superb curling shot into the top corner. David de Gea gets a hand to it, but cannot keep it out. More trouble for David Moyes.

Unbelieveable scenes at OT!

GOAL - Liverpool 3-0 West Bromwich Albion - Luis Suarez (55 mins)

A first hat-trick at Anfield for Luis Suarez. The striker is left all alone inside the box and he merely needs to leap to meet Steven Gerrard's perfectly-delivered free-kick, heading home for his sixth goal of the season.

GOAL - Aston Villa 0-1 Everton - Romelu Lukaku (68 mins)

The odds on a Belgian scoring at Villa Park would have been very short - and here's why! Everton's powerhouse striker Romelu Lukaku brings in a few coupons with the opener. He is found on edge of box by substitute Leon Osman and is allowed too much space to drill into the bottom corner from 16 yards.

GOAL - Liverpool 3-1 West Bromwich Albion - James Morrison (66 min)

Billy Jones's weaving run into the box is stopped illegally, says the referee - although it's unclear who the offender is. Perhaps the sliding Lucas or his partner in crime Aly Cissokho. Anyway, James Morrison steps up and drills low beyond Simon Mignolet.

GOAL - Man Utd 2-2 Stoke - Wayne Rooney (78 mins)

Bang. That's the sound of Stoke's resistance snapping. And who else but Wayne Rooney? The England star peels off marker Stephen Ireland to flick a glancing header into the far corner of Asmir Begovic's goal. But United don't look like they want to stop there...

Burnley 2-0 QPR

3pts clear of QPR at the top of the Championship

CHAMPIONSHIP SUMMARY

So, what a result at the summit of the Championship. QPR midfielder Joey Barton concedes a penalty in the 88th minute, and prolific striker Danny Ings steps up to fire his second goal of the day and secure Burnley the win. That's QPR's first defeat of the season and the hosts' seventh consecutive win. The other big Championship result of the day? Yeovil upsetting the odds, and doubtless Nottingham Forest manager Billy Davies, with a 3-1 win that lifts them off the foot of the table.
