GOAL- Barcelona 1-0 Real Madrid - Neymar (19 mins)

Andres Iniesta plays the ball to Neymar, who shoots from an angle and he SCORES! It took a deflection off Real defender Daniel Carvajal to leave Diego Lopez flat footed.

Neymar had been the most dangerous player on the pitch in the opening 20 minutes, and that goal will give him an enormous amount of confidence.

A bit of luck with the deflection, but a huge moment for him. I think it helps Neymar that Messi is playing effectively as a right winger - they are further apart so there's less necessity for the Brazilian to pass to the Argentine at every opportunity.

GOAL - Liverpool 4-1 West Bromwich Albion - Daniel Sturridge (77 mins)

Magnificent! Daniel Sturridge shrugs off a defender and, just when many thought he should pass to the surging Steven Gerrard, the striker looks up and chips Boaz Myhill.

That was genuinely brilliant. Fantastic goal on a fantastic afternoon at Anfield. The SAS were in full assault mode!

Who me, I don't recall saying that he was?

No, no, no not you. Was directed towards the British press, the BBC in particular who hailed him as 'the best player in the Premier League' which is bullshit, even if you put aside my Liverpool bias. Suarez is and always has been of a much higher level than Bale. Ozil is a player I'd much rather have and is far more valuable than Bale in my opinion.

By all accounts, Bale was fucking dire tonight. Looks well out of his comfort zone at Real so far. Guarantee Suarez would fit in and fly with Real (which could still happen) just like Ozil did. But Bale? No.

Had the Burnley beating Rovers nightmare last night. Get it about three times a year, but not recurring as all are very different. Think it's because I steamed the Burnley game yesterday. Even a few minutes after waking up I thought it was true. Then ultimate relief. I took it well in the dream though. And to be honest, the last two times the teams have played, due to the late nature of the equalisers and them coming out of nothing, I've come to terms with it during the game then been pleasantly surprised. It's got to come sooner or later.

GOAL - Sunderland 1-0 Newcastle - Steven Fletcher (5 mins)

And there is the big start Sunderland wanted! It's an easy, easy goal too as Adam Johnson plays a short corner to Seb Larsson, gets the ball back and stands up a dinked cross to the back stick. Steven Fletcher climbs above Paul Dummett to head in!

Great start for Gus Poyet's men.

The usual 100mph start to the derby as some swinging legs and arms fly into a few clumsy early tackles in the midfield. A swirling wind could cause some issues today as a crossfield pass drifts out of play. There's our first plastic bag as well, dancing in the wind in front of Tim Krul.

Thankfully I didn't know it was being streamed because most times they've been available to view on telly where I've been watching they've dropped points (usually against teams beginning with B)

Ahh the four B's. Blackpool, Bolton, Blackburn and Burnley.

Burnley have to slow down. I can't believe how many teams just aren't turning up against them. Partly due to their credit of closing down and working hard but not completely. QPR just didn't look interested yesterday. So frustrating. And why the hell haven't you had an injury crisis yet? I don't think Blackburn have had a full team out any point in the season.

Still waiting on Rochina and Dunn to get back to fitness and that could be over a month.

And we lost to Brighton!

Reading on Twitter recently highlights a pattern of comments about Burnley players' extreme fitness levels. I know pre-season there were reports of training regimes which included lugging tractor tyres around a field in Ireland.

GOAL - Sunderland 1-1 Newcastle - Mathieu Debuchy (57 mins)

Just as I was saying that Newcastle had not had a shot in anger, they equalise! Dreadful defending as Hatem Ben Arfa's shot from the left wing is allowed to run across the six-yard box by a gaggle of Sunderland defenders, and right-back Mathieu Debuchy just walks on to it to convert his first goal for the club from four yards out. Incredibly bad.

GOAL - Sunderland 2-1 Newcastle - Fabio Borini (84 mins)

Pick that one out! What a goal!

Fabio Borini opens his Sunderland account in style, collecting a pass from Jozy Altidore to take a touch and hammer a 25-yarder into the top corner. My word he enjoyed that one, delirious celebrations on the sideline.

GOAL - Chelsea 1-0 Man City - Andre Schurrle (33 mins)

He's back! Never in doubt! Brilliant play from Fernando Torres to power past Gael Clichy and into the penalty area, get his head up and slot the ball across on a plate for Andre Schurrle, who can't miss from four yards out and notches his first goal for Chelsea.

GOAL - Chelsea 1-1 Man City - Sergio Aguero (49 mins)

Bang! Manchester City certainly can respond, with in-form Sergio Aguero hammering in a beauty to level things up!

David Silva links up with Samir Nasri, who plays in Aguero down the left channel, he smashes in a shot on the run which Petr Cech doesn't even smell, it flies past him and into the top corner. A real ripper - was Cech beaten easily at his near post? Yes, but he wasn't expecting the shot so early. It's a fine goal.

GOAL- Chelsea 2-1 Man City - Fernando Torres (90 mins)

Clanger alert! A real shocker at the back for Manchester City! Willian helps the ball forward, Matija Nastasic and Joe Hart both go for it, Nastasic heads the ball past his own goalkeeper and Fernando Torres has the legs to get to the loose ball and fire into an open goal!
