Yeah, a broker that I bought my presale code for the ATL concert gave me a "practice" code for the L.A. concert. That got my hopes down for the ATL presale. The seats were shitty. MAYBE one pair of okay seats appeared but that was it.

Anybody want to share a presale code... i think i got ripped off by one of these eBay email you the code thing... This sucks and i paid 35 dollars for it... shouldve just waited till the 14th to buy them with the general public....

How do you know you got ripped off? file a claim with paypal and you should get your $$ back

since the pre-sale doesnt begin til tomorrow I don't know how you'd know that yet....stay calm and give a shot tomorrow....

What a bitch! The website continues to give me that stupid error message whenever I try clicking on the "Get Code" link! That's how I missed the LA presale....and gee, I guess they're not letting me try the San Jose one either. :veryangry2:

 

I tried using both Firefox and IE browser. NONE of them worked.

 

How is it that other people can get the code just fine?

pre-sale for Chicago was HORRIBLE...I'm just gonna bid on the auction its worth the extra money...

What I find really interesting, is the fact that even in the Pre-sales/general sales for some of these dates, NO one on here got a "great" seat. It's as if, they didn't put up the floor seats yet. Like they are holding them for something special (thats my optimistic view).

 

My pessimistic view is, they reserved all the good seats for promotional use (radios/ticket holders etc etc).

 

I've seen it happen before. It' s a major downer to all the fans.

 

ANd like I said, usually at least SOME people on a board this big full of fans would of reported getting something GREAT. I know we aren't all the coldplay fans in the world. I just find these sales suspicious is all.

Looks like they're holding good floor seats for the ticketmaster premium auction

The best available seats are in the first 15seconds on an onsale, and then Day of Show via ticketmaster since that when the comped tickets get sent back from people not going to the show and you are able to get first 5 rows.

I got floor seats for the San Jose show, but they are Row 34, so I'll try my luck on the general sale on Saturday to see if I can get some better seats.

i was just doing the presale for boston, i got section F on the floor, paid and then got the e-mail. when the email came guess what it said.....LOGE 1 blah blah, yeah so i purchased tickets that i did NOT click on. so ticketmaster is getting a call from me right now to refund my money. oh and to top that off, the presale is over now.

I don't understand how something like that possibly happens, but I'm quite angry about it. Now I have this extra ticket, and when I tried calling ticketmaster I was on hold for about 20mins and had to hang up because I didn't want to kill all my daytime cell mins... LAME. Let me know what kind of response you get from them, please.

grr reading all this makes me slightly furious! my presale hasnt happened yet but I have the feeling .. that when it does happen it wont go so well since it hasnt for any of you. Of course when i do go to the concert i'll feel i deserve a better seat than anybody i see in front of me cos obviously i'll think im the bigger fan :P

good, i'm glad i wasnt the only one! well my mom ended up calling ticketmaster and she got through relatively quickly! surprise! anyways, we got the money back. The lady said that that happens a lot because ticketmaster is not on the same time as everyone and can be off by 15 mins or so. She also said that happens to people a lot, a certain seat shows up, but its not the one you paid for. i just hope i can get good seats for the boston show on the 14th for the public sale. This is my last chance! i'm already going crazy here lol but anyways, just make sure you get your money back, unless you want to sell them to someone else? good luck! let me know how it goes =)

I had the same problem with Chicago, I gave up on floor tickets about 6 times because they were section 5 or 6 in the back....I'd say I searched for tickets a total of 50 or 60 times before I eventually just settled for one of these floor tickets. I was disappointed.

 

Also, I really hope that all the talk of these being "floor seats" aren't true...I've never been to a concert at the United Center or a Coldplay concert for that matter, but I'd be pretty disappointed if there were actual physical seats on the floor level, even though that's what it looks like right now.

Reading your story gave me hope!... However, I just spoke to Ticketmaster and they won't refund it whatsoever. I'm so angry about this situation. Did your mom have to talk to someone higher up or something? The kid I dealt with was clearly reading off a script... And was no help at all :(... Anyways, glad to hear you were able to get a refund for your ticket :) I guess I cross my fingers with Ebay now...
