boo lil wayne! go coldplay!

I still think that Coldplay will be number 1 in the U.S. Lil Wayne will get most of his sales in the U.S. this week. If Coldplay is not number one something is seriously wrong with musical tastes in the U.S. :shocked2: No offense to any Lil Wayne fans but his music is terrible. :P

 

Even if CP is not number one though it doesn't really matter -- we know who of the two is more talented and who will be around for years to come. :wink3:

They were promoting their own album/song on iTunes.

 

AND itunes and ipods themselves by doing so. i'm not really complaining, since i have a more lax attitude towards bands lending their music to commercials etc, but i find it interesting that they were always so against this before, and now it's come up once. that's all.

 

i just really don't think an album from anyone less than U2 or radiohead or someone like that (...or high school musical or hannah montana :rolleyes:) will keep VLVOD out of the #1 slot for at least a week. think of all the presales themselves! this thing has broken records already, so i'm really not worried. but really, the numbers mean nothing anyway. we know it's good, so i don't think we should bother with the sales numbers or the reviews.

lil wayne is just shit, it would be a shame to see lil wayne succesing, there are even better rap/hip hop singers

Lil Wayne is an insult to the music industry. 'Nuff said.

I don't hate Lil Wayne as much as you guys do. But I really don't care for his music either. My friend is a fan, and even he said this wasn't his best album. So it would be a shame if he took the # 1 spot, when Coldplay really deserve it.

Lil Wayne won't sell, I haven't even heard that he was releasing an album or had even released one before this. Since the mainstream's latched onto Coldplay a lot better than they did last time, CP's extremely likely to beat the crap out of it :dozey:
