I couldn't finish the article, it bored me.

maybe everyone likes to pick on coldplay because they are arguably the biggest band in the world right now and some people don't know WHY. :P

 

they are good, but they are not amazing. which is probably why they appeal to such a huge audience out there, hence selling millions of copies. because they suit the general public's needs of a nice sounding, make-you-feel-good kind of music. albeit their little experimenting with VLV which i don't think was all that brilliant but hats off to coldplay for trying. they must have been under so much pressure, i respect their effort.
