i'll start first.

when i was very young (about the height of your average bin) I used to think that whenever the name "james" was mentioned on television programmes I thought they were talking either to or about me.

there are many more much stupider ones from me....but let's see what my fellow coldplay humans come up with :D

Aw, great thread.

I used to believe there were little trolls that lived in mazes under the roads. They manned (or er, trolled) huge computers that controlled when the street lights would change colors.

Hiccoughs came from really tiny green monsters that crawled and bounced up your throat in a desperate attempt to escape. A hiccough was any time they'd try to jump out (but alas, they're awfully bad swimmers, thus drinking glasses of water is still the sure way to rid of them)

I was also really fascinated by the idea that on the other side of the world, it would be broad daylight while I was falling asleep in bed at night. I was under the impression that I lived in the center of the world, so that when I'd see the sunset, I'd always look at it and think, 'look, China's just waking up.'

The world was better then *smiles*

Great thread James !

When I was young I used to have a lot of things on my walls in my room :

pictures, posters, drawings . . . Whatever ! And I thought that people on the posters or else could see me naked when I put my pyjama . . .

So I always used to hide me in my own room because Mickey Mouse could see me naked !

I'm sure I'm not the only one in that case :dozey::P
