July 7, 200817 yr I hate The Feeling. They were just on The Sunday Night Project - they're one of those bands that get everywhere. They're even in a car advert at the moment. They're so smug. I saw that earlier and was like WTF? Did I just see The Feeling in a glove compartment? LAME.

July 7, 200817 yr Has anyone seen Randy Pausch's "Last Lecture"? That guy who's dying of cancer, who's a graduate professor? I saw part of it when I walked in on my mom watching it on Oprah. I had to walk out of the room because it was a disgusting "look at me" spectacle. Every five seconds he was reminding people about how he "will die soon" and how "this lecture was only intended to be heard by my children". It was so disingenuous. Then there was a part where he talked about how he got a brand new car, and how he was going to take his nephews for a ride in it, but their mother told them before hand to be careful not to get the car dirty. So Randy decides to teach his nephews a life lesson by pouring out a can of soda in the back seat of his car! The point being: cars are just material things, and what's important is PEOPLE! Talk about stupid. He was undermining his sister's parenting, and making light of caring for others' property. I imagine one day those kids will dent their friend's car and act shocked and surprised when the friend isn't exactly honky-dory with it. Randy Pausch is a tool. /Rant end.
July 7, 200817 yr man i do not like little kids, they're always yellin and screamin, and the little brats just need to be slapped around a little bit. these parents are too soft! also, senior citizens and other bad drivers should stay off the road! the end.
July 7, 200817 yr I don't understand it either. Most parents spoil theyr'e kids too much. I mean, every time they fake-cry the get the thing they've been begging for.
July 7, 200817 yr also, senior citizens and other bad drivers should stay off the road! +1 Elderly drivers are the worst!
July 7, 200817 yr A band? In the US, your "bands" cannot make music anymore. All hail bubblegum pop and sissy rap artistz! Jay-Z, for example??
July 7, 200817 yr *insert Mark style reply here* You appear to be having one of your "bored" nights.
July 7, 200817 yr unlike you, I'm never bored :P It's very unlike you to keep repeating yourself......................
July 7, 200817 yr I'm not repeating myself... ...unlike you :P Unlike you, I'm not deluded!!
July 7, 200817 yr At the Gogol Bordello concert I went to back in March, I was in the front row, which was great. I was sort of to the right of the stage, but I still was in front of it, dangerously close to being pushed right off the floor. Towards the middle of the show, these two chicks showed up and kind of pushed me over. I had already drifted waaay away from where I started, but they had to come up and start shaking their asses a lot and push me over even more. Ugh. Also, the one standing right next to me had terrible BO. It didn't ruin the night any, though. I'd also really enjoy it if last.fm didn't continue to show Lollapalooza in the little upcoming events thing! :bigcry:
July 7, 200817 yr I hate those Oprah episodes where it's like, "100 ways to get a man! :cheesy:" Boooo. What happened to her crusade to find child molesters?
July 7, 200817 yr I love that smiley. I swear I make that face sometimes. Today's show annoyed me. There was a matchmaker on there and she was like, "You need to make the man feel like a man. Make him feel wanted and ask him for help. Ask him to open the pickle jar once in a while [metaphor, i think.]" Seriously? :dozey: There are guys that still feel like they have to prove how masculine they are? Oprah's all for women being strong and independent and that's the best advice they could come up with?
