It's so hard talking to my dad, though, because we're both 'stubborn' personalities and sometimes we just end up fighting. And the thing is that he never listens to what I have to say. He never gives me a chance to explain myself and just assumes EVERYTHING. Before I can explain something fully he CORRECTS me, and I don't even have a chance to say the same thing he is correcting me with. I think my parents just think I'm some stupid kid who thinks like everyone else so they have a reason to treat me like I don't know better...

 

I've always gotten along with my mom better, but she has a tendency to just agree with my dad just because.

 

EDIT: I REALLY hope that I don't sound like a whiny immature teenager right now...That's not what I'm trying to be at all. For now I'm taking it for what it is, but I won't give up just yet.

 

I totally understand. I was in the exact same situation like a year and a half ago before I moved out in my own place. it was getting harder and harder to be around my dad without arguing or anything. we would disagree about anything. And to him, I would always be the one who was wrong and needed to shut up. Sometimes I would just skip dinner because we'd yell at each other.. it was truly a hard time. But now I'm glad our relationship got much better. We get along quite well, even though we dont always agree. But it's nicer!

 

sorry, I got a bit lost talking about myself there.. but I just thought of telling you this because I do believe it'll be soon better between the two of you. At least I hope !

 

about the tickets being on sale tomorrow.. if you still dont manage to convince your mum tonight, ask someone from here to buy one for you. They could still change their minds before October. And it'd be a shame if you didnt have a tix.

this week was full of 'dress up' looks.

 

On thursday I went out to celebrate my graduation... and found out that a good black dress really can save a girl in a time of need.

paired up a low cut cleavage black dress, with black pumps and super mini purse.

 

yesterday I went to the theater with my family so since there was no need to be too dressy I put my black skinny jeans with a red shirt with a ruffled neck and red peep toes.

 

And today a more casual look: black skinny jeans (again) with my beatles t-shirt and black flats with a golden buckle.

I was bad! I wanted to get the cute purse but couldn't find it... so i bought 2 sets of earrings and a shirt... later on I wanted to buy male baggy jeans and a blouse but forgot my wallet in the car so that saved me some... but i think i''ll pick it up another day....
