wow... what a good episode. of course ben is going to be sly as to why he killed locke. I have a feeling he's going to say something on the lines of that he had to kill him because suicides can't come back.

i really don't know who to trust. i'm actually siding towards widmore.

regardless, ben is still my favorite character (he has been since like season 3)

THESE ARE JUST MY PERSONAL IDEAS

I think Walt is definitely supposed to be the "leader" but John took over that role by telling Richard Alpert about his presence at his birth

Widmore and Ben are just as deluded as one another, neither is particularly good or bad.

Like I had suspected earlier, the plane crashed in present day and the survivors currently on the beach now are the ones who shot at Faraday and crew in the near future. They go looking for Johns friends and that is why the settlement of 815 had been ripped apart when the Time Travelling crew were there. That all pieces together nicely.

Christian is actually alive not just a manifestation of Jacob, this would make sense as John is now alive on the island and arrived in the same circumstances as Christian. But that wouldn't really make sense as he was there in the past.

Who was on the plane that would have gone off with Lapidus? That also means he's clearly in on it, working for Widmore again possibly?

these are good theories.

just one question, why would Jin wear a Dharma suit in the present, if the plane did crash in present day. He was back with Sawyer, and that was in the past because the well disappeared as if it never existed. Am I wrong, or am I clearly missing something ? :dizzy2:

Nono, when the plane crashed there was a white flash and only the O6 were affected by it, they went back into the past where Faraday/Sawyer/Jin etc have become part of the Dharma initiative.

That was already pretty certain but confirmed by Cesar in the last episode by stating that Hurley simply vanished

Ooh that's right ! So now we need to find out why John isn't affected anymore, and why Ben just isn't :uhoh:

Ben was never on the flight anyway, so that's why he didn't go back in time and I assume it's something to do with the fact that John was dead

Hurley was in prison, not the asylum. It was strange too see Hurley and Sayid pop up out of nowhere and suddenly being on the flight. And what happened to poor little Benjamin?

316 was a great episode, but the next one will be great

We knew Hurley would be free because Ben's lawyer said that he would be able to free Hurley from jail next morning. the next morning was the day after they went to the church and saw Eloise Hawking.

Didn't like the last episode that much. John is so weak...

HOLY SHIT, what a great episode, with an even greater ending! I can't wait 2 WEEKS!

I like your theories! And I've definitely been thinking that Jack's dad is alive!! But, where is Claire? And yes, Aaron too?

And I've been trying to figure out who could have gone off with Frank too. at first I thought maybe Sun, but she should have been thrown somewhere like Hugo, Jack, and Kate. Right? And where is Sun and Sayid anyway??

Will we ever see Desmond again?!

That was such a good episode.

THE STATUE!

Doesn't leave me with much theory thinking though, there were early signs of Daniel being "the crazy man" who talks to Charlotte

Are James/Juliette etc going to be killed when the Purge happens? Also I don't thin Jack Kate and Hugo are going to just walk in and be accepted, they might have to become hostiles, or set up camp and be helped by James and Jin, which would lead to a nice storyline about someone becoming suspicious of what they are up to etc

I NOTICED THE STATUE TOO!!! I was like that's from season 2 when sayid took the boat to try and surprise attack the others!!:stunned:

oh yeah, we kinda knew that about him.

I don't know what's going to happen with them. They're definitely not going to be accepted so Sawyer will have to get creative, or maybe Richard would even help him out? I don't know, Locke will probably find a way too. But where's Sun, Sayid, and Frank?

I'm so excited for next week!!

after seeing this episode it feels like season 1... it's nice to sorta see things start to come together

s05e08 best episode in a long time! A bit predictable and slow start but Sawyer really did good for the Lost clan :D

ouch, head hurting again!!! but in a good, Lost is making me think about stuff again way.

bad writers! I was very happy about Sawyer & Juliette, it fitted nicely.

Yeah i thought that too. This episode felt a lot more "normal" than any other of this season. It's good to see things connecting again.

Yeah the 4-toed statue thingy was a nice addition to the episode. F that bitch for leaving the sonic fence on.

This show is crazy, will anything return to normal?? We still dont know much about the ppl on the other side where locke and Ben are.... OMG WAIT FOR IT.... THE NEXT MEETING BETWEEN LOCKE AND RICKARD ALPERT WILL BE INCREDIBLE

That was SUCH a good episode. I can't wait 2 weeks! :bomb:

Who do you guys think the baby is?

I was trying to work that out. It has to be someone who would be in their late 20's/early 30's when the plane crashed. We know its a boy.

Possibly could be:

Charlie

Desmond

Boone

Daniel

but according to IMDB.com, Horace's surname is Goodspeed, and none of them have that for a surname.

So I'm still not sure

Daniel? Are you joking? His mum was made out very clearly to be Eloise

Boone is far too young and has parents off the island, we've seen Charlie's back story off the island as well. Desmond is the only possibility out of those and even then, very unlikely.

I don't think the baby is a significant character, it was just to show that giving birth was not an issue until later on, which means something triggered it

That's a good theory, yep. I guess we'll have to wait.
