I already wanna re-do my list

ha, same here:laugh3:

Here are my nominations in alphabetical order;

A-ha!- Analogue

Aqualung-Cinderella

Athlete-Twenty Four Hours

Coldplay-Speed of Sound

Doves-Snowden

Editors-Escape the Nest

Elbow-On a Day Like This

Embrace-Gravity

The Fray-Heaven Forbid

Remember, DON'T nominate songs that have already been nominated. I've seen Bitterweet Symphony at least 10 times on these two pages. You're wasting your nominations...

Why? it's OUR favourite song after all. Otherwise this top 100 favourite songs is pretty useless.

:bigcry:

Don't Panic - Coldplay

Morning Star - Evermore

Are You Magnetic? - Faker

Faint [EMT Remix] - Linkin Park vs Justin Lassen

Drops of Jupiter - Train

Sunsets - Powderfinger

To The End (RnR Cheryl Remix) - My Chemical Romance

Setting Sun - Eskimo Joe

Shine On - Jet

Rebel Yell - Children of Bodom

Muscle Museum - Muse

Don't Fight It - The Panics

Self Esteem - The Offspring

Don't ever ask me to compile such a list again... :bigcry:

A Thousand Winters Melting - The Myriad

Golden Skans - The Klaxons

No Longer There - The Cat Empire

Straight Lines - Silverchair

Breed - Nirvana

Sit Down Stand Up (Snakes & Ladders) - Radiohead

Where Is My Mind? - The Pixies

But what's the point in re-nominating a song? If someone already nominated it, it's already entered and the fact whether it's been nominated once, twice, three times won't make a difference, it's just a waste of your choices. If you want to compile your own top 20 for personal purposes go for it, but I'd add alternates if some of the choices have already been entered in the competition.

Weelllll ... how would you then place the songs into the list? In alphabetical order? I thought this thread was about creating a list of top 100 favourite songs, NOT only naming our top 20 songs. ;) I understand that you could post alternatives, but when it comes to your favourites, you don't have some spare stuff in case they're already someone else's favourites.

I've read again the rules now and it seems that it was supposed not to re-nominate songs that have already been suggested. But I have NO idea what'll become out of this later as I reckon not many of us would listen to 200 different songs to find the ultimate one. And I'm still not changing my list.

This is only the first round. When I get all the songs nominated into a big group they're seperated into smaller random groups and Coldplayers for example pick 10 of their favorite songs in that particular group and so on...and then the songs voted for most are then rated on a scale from 1-10 from all of you and then THAT is used to compile the top 100. Don't worry about it, I have it all worked out already.:P

Read my last post though, this has NOTHING to do with the ranking so far...all we're doing in this thread is coming up with the initial list which with the help of all of you will be widdled down through ratings, votes etc down to 100 and by then each song will have a point value which will allow me to rank them accordingly into a top 100 list. If a song is already nominated, it's entered into the competition already, it won't make a difference how many times you enter the same song into a competition lol. This particular round has nothing to do with votes, it's all just getting a rough list together (I'm targetting for 500+ nominated songs) that will eventually be narrowed down to 100 through other rounds that DO involve voting and ratings which determine the top 100 ranking.
