the lighting is rather awful though. i probably should have used the flash.

my side is on the left. i quite like our room; it's rather long and biggish.

 

my desk area. i'll take more close ups of the posters tomorrow.

Wow- your dorm room is huge! I love it! It's especially cool with the slanted ceiling! Very cool... what school do you go to?

i go to dickinson in PA. but i love your dorm room way more! your walls are AWESOME (office + coldplay? two of my favorite things!), and the room itself is one of the nicest i've seen. where do you go? i might have to transfer just for their dorms :P

Hahaha... thanks! I go to SUNY Geneseo... it's in western NY. My dorm is actually one of the nicest on campus. Most upperclassmen here move off campus (I'm a junior), so once you hit junior year you pretty much have your pick of the housing! I'm moving off campus next year though, and I am so excited! We signed a lease on a house last week, and it's really nice. And yes, The Office and Coldplay are pretty much the two most important things in my life. :laugh3:

sarah, i especially love your framed coldplay collage things, with the butterfies and the setlists and the photos. question, though: where the hell did you get that greeny flower-drawing coldplay sign? i've never seen anything like it before!

 

and i know vaguely where SUNY genesco is; i'm from western connecticut originally, and a lot of my friends go to the SUNY schools. i don't know anyone at genesco, though.

Haha, thanks! The green poster was from the MSG show- it says "June 23 at Madison Square Garden in New York City" on it, so I guess that was the only time they sold it. I made those collages after all the shows I went to each summer, and actually all the photos in them I took myself at the Today Show! The setlist is actually from the show at the Beacon in NYC back in 2005. I need to make more collages or something though because Chavi just sent me TONS of butterflies from all the shows she went to and I need some place to showcase them! :)
