Well, here is the review of my mixtape!

thanks to whoever took the time to make it.......

You left a lot of the names or pictures on the songs so I didn't have to guess though. haha....

1 Rufus Wainwright..... I don't know the song, but it's kind of what I expect of him. Nice and easy going. a bit boring but he has a nice voice.

2 I'm not very sure about this song.... it's a bit pop-py for me! In fact, I don't really like it. sorry.

3 This song has a good little melody but its a bit wishy-washy for me. It's okay but a bit kind of country/folk sounding. It's not bad.

4 I know this song.... Patrick Wolf, the Magic Position. It's a good one.... I saw him live supporting Arcade Fire.

5 This song is boring, quiet and too slow for me, personally.

6 You left the name on this one as well, although I don't know them. This lady has a really nice voice, but the song is a bit mature-sounding for me..... I don't particularly like it.

7 Again, the name was left on this one but I didn't know the band.... quite a nice sounding song. Sounds a tiny tiny bit arcade fire-ish. It's okay.

8 You left the name on....Sugababes and I like a lot of their hit songs....this song however was really bland for me :/ Im sorry :(

9 So.....Elton John. His music is alright.... of course he's had lots of hits.... I'm not a great fan but it's easy, pleasant listening.

10 Very seventies sounding...haha. The part I like is the bass.

11 NOW you've got my attention...I reeeeeaaallly like this song. and I'm very curious as to who it's by! I like it a lot, with the talking and repetition... :D

12 Elbow.... this is a song I recognise and it's a good one. I really like the end of this song....I always heard it somewhere and didn't know it was by them.

13 A nice easy going song.... not bad. I like the little guitar riffs during the verses.

14 Sorry, not my taste at all. Sounds a bit 90's?

15 This song is okay. A bit folky and haunting. I like the guy's voice.

16 A catchy song, with a memorable singing voice. Not entirely sure about it though.

17 An instrumental song? kinda nice and easy going.

18 Oh..... I love this one! The Streets. The background is great... and the contrast of his talking lyrics. Great... i like this kind of song. :nice:

19 a dramatic song... a bit slow, but it's quite nice at the beginning. I like the tune of it, especially the guitars in the middle. Not sure about the end though, nooo :S

Ok, so I hope I wasn't too brutal on some songs!! :( Overall, it seemed to me that this mixtape would be suited to someone slightly older or someone into calmer music than I am. There were some good songs on it that were more towards what I like, so thanks for them. I look forward to hearing who they were by! :)

19 tracks, good mixtape.^^

i've finished, uploaded and link gave to Nina the one i had done.

as said before, i'll post a review of the one i got tomorrow, it has 11 tracks, and beging from calm songs turns to more rythmical-rocky ones and end with a mixture of both on the last track. :cool4:

That was mine crazyduckette.

1 Release The Stars - Rufus Wainwright

I love him.

2 Me Plus One - Annie

I love the squidgy synth bass and the keyboards and synths in this, and I think it's rather catchy.

3 Crimson Dawn - Seth Lakeman

I just think this is beautiful.

4 The Magic Position - Patrick Wolf

I love him too.

5 I Don't Care What You Call Me - David Ford

I thought this was mega dull the first time I heard it, but after a couple more listens I was hooked. Gorgeous voice, heartbreaking, beautiful lyrics.

6 Maybe Tonight - Nicole Atkins

Very retro vibe which I love.

7 Mathematics - Cherry Ghost

Love his voice, love his lyrics, this band make me think of North England, love and romance.

8 Whatever Makes You Happy - Sugababes

I love this for some reason.

9 Indian Sunset - Elton John

Part of this features in Tupac's Ghetto Gospel. I think this is one of his best songs. So many layers, sections, melodies. Great imagery. Makes me think of deserts and the sun. Not 'typical' Elton.

10 I Get High On You - Sly and the Family Stone

Funky, soulful, sexy bass, I love them.

11 Unkle (Main Title Theme) - Unkle

This kicks ass doesn't it. Great beat, great riffing.

12 Grounds For Divorce - Elbow

Listen to Elbow! They're fooking fantastic and this song is mega amazing.

13 Pull Me Out Alive - Kaki King

I probably should have put one of her instrumental tracks on, but I didn't wanna put too many on. She is a super talented guitar player, incredibly fast finger picking style - check her out on YouTube.

14 Beat Control - Tilly and the Wall

I like this, rather cute.

15 Looking For Answers - Hope and Social

Imagine this performed in a church in Yorkshire, with the congregation singing the oohs and ahhs. Beautiful. There's a video on YouTube.

16 Back In Your Head - Tegan and Sara

Swoons and sighs heavily. Me love.

17 Cerulean - Jon Hopkins (the same guy associated with Coldplay)

This is a gorgeous instrumental.

18 The Escapist - The Streets

Mike Skinner is great, this is stunning - the lyrics, the music, the choir, all beautiful.

19 Whatever It Takes - Embrace

This is the band I had most trouble deciding over. This is, above all, the band I want to get people listening to and to give a try. A lot of people, for whatever reason, don't 'get' them. If you get to know their story, the ups and downs they've had, personal problems certain members of the band have had, their history, everything, then maybe songs like this will really resonate with you. I care about this band more than any other band in the world (yes, more than Coldplay!) I love this song. The haunting, sad melody, the roll on the floor tom that comes like a speeding train before the 2nd verse, the bass, the melody, Danny's voice, the lyrics, the melancholic vibe that builds and builds to a joyous crescendo of sound, life and love. No band does soulful, gospel rock like Embrace.

Eee! I just got my PM  I'll write about it tomorrow if I can. :D

Ah cool! I didn't know it was you, Fixed! Is your name Chris? or maybe I'm thinking of someone else.

Thanks for the song names. I shall listen to the songs a bit more, maybe they will grow on me.

I LOVE that Unkle song.....its greeeaat. Shall look at their other stuff as well.

cheers!

1. Piano. beautiful. makes all the little hairs on my neck stand up. Good sign. Kicking in now, no lyrics yet. Techno-ish beat. Reminds me of Frank Mills stuff I listened to as a kid, in a very good way. Pipes now. :nice: It's the sort of melody I always wish I could write. Or at least play like that. Now it sounds all Celtic with the pipe melody...has someone been stalking me or something :stunned::uhoh: My heart feels like it's going to burst a little. Who is this? It's great.

2. Snow Patrol! :D "You could be happy..." Supposedly they had a real music box put together for the background bits, according to Gary. :nice: Random fact for the day. I go through love/hate phases with these guys, but it's definitely swung back to love at the moment, what with the new album just killing me with it's amazingness and all. I always like how the words sound so effortless for him like he's right there beside you whispering in your ear making it all up on the spot.

3. Chilled out guitar. French? Nice voice. Neat tone and easy to hear the words. Which is frustrating because I know just enough French to get scraps of what she's saying without context. Something about her house and snow and lights in the evening. Very relaxing, or at least it would be if I wasn't rueing how much French I've forgotten since school.

4. Don't know who this is, but I like it, though it's not exactly my thing. Acoustic guitar and piano. Sounds like an American. Now it's someone who's listened to a fair bit of Oasis. Now it sounds like they're trying to sound old- or may be old, but I don't think so. Good pop sensibility, anyway. His voice vaguely reminds me of Raine Maida from OLP. I like the lyrics in the chorus.

5. ...No alarms and no surprises please. :laugh3: Well... not alarmed or surprised, just like it said on the box. You know I have a friend who listens to some of the same stuff I do (or at least he used to) who upon getting his first ipod and shuffling it together suddenly declared that he had figured out what all the music he likes has in common- they all use a subtle amount of xylophone or other chimes in their music. Doesn't matter what genre it is, there's the xylophone. Realized it's about the same for half the music I like too. Random.

6. Dancing Shoes! Mental whiplash. :dizzy: Radiohead days and Arctic Monkey days are completely separate days for me, so it's a little strange to hear one go straight into the other. But not bad strange. Just brain cramp strange.

7. What the hooey is this? Must turn down volume in a hurry! Got me dancing along a bit, though. Sounds like another song I know but can't remember what with something else laid on top. Now it's changed completely. Kind of reggae? I liked the first part better. It's really neat, though- it's like there's two different things jammed together and it switches back and forth between them.

8. Quiet... glassy... Never heard the song but I may know that voice?.... Or not. Dunno. Ooh, 80's synths. Now this is the kind of new wave I like.

See what I mean about chimes in songs?

9. Woah, big guitar. Interesting. The vocal just sounds so comical to me for some reason. It's got a good chuggy pace to it. I'm moving along. .....Yeah, and now that's why I don't like bluesy stuff normally... the guitar gets kind of shrill after a while. Makes my head hurt.

10. R.E.M.? Someone who's listened to a lot of REM at least... I'm not sure that sounds like Stipe. Big confession time... I'm not so big on REM. :embarassed: Some of their songs are so good, and other just do noting for me. Same goes for soundalikes. Oh, I'll get more into them eventually. It'll just take time. Ooh, a bit of piano. I quite liked that by the end. Good midtempo bit of something.

11. I know that voice. Who is it again? Yeah, it's one of the songs the radio around here tried to kill from overplaying, but the song was good enough that they couldn't quite drive the final nail in even though it didn't do much for me. Heh... away from the other radio crap it actually sounds quite nice. :nice: Who is that anyway? Can't remember.

12. Blondie! :D I love Blondie. I got that album on vinyl at a yard sale last year for 2 bucks along with Autoamerican. Good stuff, though I think it's my least favorite album. This song sounds better on it's own. The cover for this always makes me laugh. What was she thinking anyway?

13. Broken piano chord... tense quiet... moody... good start. Halfway through and it's still all ambient. Very warm ambient. A million images flooding through my head like bits of a movie. It's beautiful. Stirs up so many memories for reasons I can't quite figure out. Sort of like when you smell something and you remember every other time you smelled it? Love it. So much.

14. You know, there's some old interview clips of Chris talking about Warning Sign where he says the thing he doesn't like about the song is that it makes him sound like less of a jerk than he was being at the time the events of the song took place. So I'm listening thinking he's always so hard on himself, but then Jonny agreed he was a massive jerk at that particular time. :inquisitive: I'd love to hear that story if even Jonny was willing to be that hard on him in public for whatever he did. I have a live acoustic version of the song- I think it's from before the album even came out because the second verse is completely different. In that version he panics and does something terrible to make her leave...can't quite remember how it goes, though. I should look it up again. I love seeing how songs evolve like that.

Such a good song. SUCH a good song. So good it needs to be said three times. SUCH A GOOD SONG. :flutterby:

15. Neat guitar... heh, he sounds like Buck 65 right at the start, something about the tone of his voice. But now he's singing and sounds different. I'm liking this. Hey look, a chorus. *points* Ooh, now it's really getting into it. I really like. Weird voice, though.

16. Woah, piano. In the same key as the last song- I didn't even realize the track had ended for a second. She has quite the voice. Like the strings. Not something I would nessesarily go out of my way to listen to, but it's a good song. I like it. :)

17. Quiet piano. Oh, cut up looped piano. I feel like I should know this, but I don't. I bet you it's by someone I've heard before. DJ Shadow maybe? Very chilled out, kind of trip hoppy. Just my thing. :nice: Great way to go out.

Well, that's my first impression, as it all happened. Now back to number 13 to dig up some more old memories before shuffling. Thank-you so much, that was a fantastic mix. Definitely what I'm falling asleep to tonight. You know you've heard a good mix when you finish it feeling all warm and fuzzy and refreshed sort of like you've been on a journey and gotten to the end and had a big glass of water and then everything seems new again. And that's exactly how I feel now.

Great Job!!!!!!! :daisy:

:nice:  Glad that you liked it Erin (thought mine wouldn't be good :embarassed: i was so :cheesy: when working on which songs to choose, but it was sure that it will open and end with an intrumental song ;) )

Ah cool! I didn't know it was you, Fixed! Is your name Chris? or maybe I'm thinking of someone else.

Thanks for the song names. I shall listen to the songs a bit more, maybe they will grow on me.

I LOVE that Unkle song.....its greeeaat. Shall look at their other stuff as well.

cheers!

Yeah I'm Chris :) Glad you like that Unkle track. I might be able to upload a few albums for you...

My review..

1. Nice vocals. Nice use of instruments (trumpets, yay!). I love all those weird bling-blong sounds on the background haha.

This is actually just the type of music i want to listen to at the moment.. It's relaxing but still powerfull.

2. The beginning of the songs reminded me of some radiohead song.. (one from in rainbows i think(?)). I'm quite confused 'cause i like the song and have heard it before for sure but i just can't put my finger on it..

Again, nice relaxing song. I love the drums and the guitar playing that one rhyme throughout the whole song.

3. Continuing the theme: Soft vocals, relaxing. I like that they probably didn't use that many instruments in the song and it sounds rather cool with the hands clapping and tambourines.

I don't think i'd enjoy listening to this song that often though.. something big is missing in this song

4. I can imagine this song being played in a movie where a group of friends is driving somewhere in their car having fun.

I find song overall a tiny bit boring and unoriginal and that guitar riff gets a bit annoying after 2 mins.

5. The singing sounds funny! i don't know why though.. or maybe it's because of the clapping hands again..

I'm curious to know which band this is. I think i'd enjoy listening to their other songs 'cause their music sounds very interesting.

6. The music reminds me of Beirut. Gotta be because of the mandolin or whatever that is  The drumming sounds fuun! The singer's voice is actually quite sweet..i wish someone sang love songs to me with that voice

7. Reminds me of Death Cab For Cutie. I know it's not them though. The beginning of the song with the guitar riff sounded like Metallica or some other big international rock band hahah

Aw, cellos & violins, awesome. The singing sounds soooo soft and sweet aww

8. TRAVIS! Travis works everytime. There was a travis song on the last mixtape i received too haha.

Well, what can i say? Travis is one of my favourite bands and this is a good song. I'm not insanely in love with this song but it's not bad anyway

9. I can't appreciate this song that much because i was waiting to hear something similar to that Travis song = something a bit more "rocky" (doh, that is a word..)

Bah, i just couldn't get into this song.. It has a nice calming theme but i needed something louder.

10. Wow, a female singing. The first one on this mixtape. It's actually quite nice to hear a female voice for a change although i usually don't listen to this kind of songs.

Liking the guitar & singing combo. Ah, this is just simply beautiful, i can even imagine myself crying while listening to this.. Simply beautiful. Who is this woman singing??

11. I tried but i just don't like the singer's voice. I like the piano in the beginning but after that it gets a bit boring. It gets better around 2mins though.

Mwah, i think i'd like the song much more without the singer singing haha. It doesn't sound awful all the time but most of the time anyway :/

12. I can't decide whether i like this one or not. The singing sounds a bit too faint for me but then again it probably wouldn't fit the song at all if someone was singing those lines out l_o_u_d.

I like the rythm of the singing and the drumming over all.

13. The beginning sounds like this song is from pocahontas or some other disney movie (that isn't necessarily a bad thing) but once the drumming & singing start it stops sounding like a song from a disney movie hah.

The drumming is fun ( i seem to like the drumming in every song mwah). I'm not that excited of this song.. i kind of stopped listening to it after the first minute when it started to repeat itself

14.Hey! i know this song somewhere! The singer's voice sounded familiar right from the beginning but i just have no idea who she is.

I like the way she sings althought there's a bit too much vibrato in some places for my taste but i can live with that.

Can't wait to hear what band/artist this is..

15. The beginnig made me curious..until the singing started, that sounded quite awful for the first 30 secs or so but the song gets definitely better towards the end.

I wanna go home!! :bigcry:

16. Is this german? Kind of reminds me of a song from the lord of the rings. Sad melody, well sang. The ending is powerful and makes me want to hear more by this band/artist.

17. The accent is amazing! This girl knows how to sing loudly! And that's only a good thing 'cause it doesn't sound like shouting

So to sum this all up: The person who made this mixtapes likes: clapping hands, different kind of drummings, interesting guitar riffs..

It was maybe a bit too calm mix for my taste but i can imagine myself listening to most of those songs in the future!

Cheerios!

Wooho! I'm downloading my mix at the moment.

Wooho! I'm downloading my mix at the moment.

Me too! I'm unbelievably excited :D:D:D

Zeoir, I was so afraid to make your mix. We do not spend our time in the same threads and I didnt know what to do... I figured I would play it safe and put more mellow and mid-tempo songs on it instead of faster songs. Mostly because I found out you liked Travis and to me they are more mellow than rocky. I later found out you listened to Muse and felt I made a mistake by being safe. Darn it. Plus I am 19 or so years older than you and 1/2 way around the world. I was really nervous that I had failed. When you said in one post that you liked to listen to your headphones while walking your dogs, I knew we had something in common and I felt better.

So, I went with mostly new songs and thought I would maybe turn you on to stuff you hadnt heard yet. These are some of my favorite mellow jams mostly from this year. Nothing is older than 2005. Beside Travis I was hoping everything felt fresh, new and had an interesting beat and melody.

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=R263T3ZL Here is the link to Zeoir for all! Enjoy

1. Bubbles by James from 2008 Hey Ma. You have David Watts to thank for 2 entries by this band being on here. I had never heard of them and when I downloaded Hey Ma, I was hooked instantly

6. Winter by The DoDos from 2008 Visitor. Not for everyone. But, definetly a new sound and original for sure.

7. The Fox by Nada Surf from 2008 Lucky - Arent these guys GREAT! They ARE like Death Cab and fit nicely next to Travis too...

8. Eyes Wide Open by TRAVIS! It would be right to make a mix for you and not include something from these guys. I was hoping I had picked one of your favs. But, oh well. Im glad we both like them.

9. Shed Your Love by The Helio Sequence from 2008 Keep Your Eyes Ahead. Sorry it was so mellow. I just love LOVE songs.... LOL I wear my heart on my sleave. I really hoped youd like these guys. I guess I missed the mark. 1st of 2 songs by them. WHOOPS you didnt care for the other one either. LOL

10. Sure As Shit by Kathleen Edwards from 2008 Asking For Flowers - This mix was in need of some estrogen in a big way. She is not really well known. She is actually considered "alternative country" If there is such a thing. I love the folky vibe of her latest album

12. Back To This by The Helio Sequence. I should maybe keep loving this band to my self LOL

14. Torch by Alanis Morrisette from 2008 Flavors Of Entanglement - All though maybe not her best album, Its definetly one of the best from 2008. I am kind of surprised you didnt know it was her. Several nice tracks on this album need to be heard.

15. I Wanna Go Home by James from 2008 Hey Ma - I had to include another from this album. I like this song a lot.

16. Ice Cream Van by Glasvegas from 2008 Glasvegas - Another spectacular debut album from a band that I have high expectations in the future for

17. The Purgatory Line by The Drive-by Truckers from 2008 Brighter Than Creations Dark. This band from Athens Georgia has 3 lead singers. She is the best of them in my opinon. This is the Female vocal performance of the year. The haunting message of this song captured my attention instantly and I love this band to no end.

Thanks for listening. I wish I had taken more risks now. I really wish I had put Jesus Jackson on it and more fun uptempo stuff. I cant wait to do this again. It was really fun getting my mix and I am still listening to it now.

Zeoir and everyone else --- If you would like any of these albums Id be happy to upload them in a PM for you. It may take time but its worth it to share music for me. I love this idea and hope to participate as much as possible

VIVA LA MUSICA!

*feels happy that introduced someone to James*

Wonderful, I like the way things are developping. :)

Dave, I'm writing the review. :)

And will make a mixtape tomorrow I hope. I was already doing one, but my laptop problem came in the way. :(

Want to borrow my hammer.jpg?

And was I an idiot and didn't take out the album arts of my songs?

Aw, you did a good job! don't worry :nice:

wow, i'm suprised to see that one of the songs was by Beck :o

I've been planning to listen to Nada Surf for ages but for some reason never did that. I clearly like their music though

And yeah, i actually know Bell X1! Weird that i didnt recognise them..

To the mystery-maker of my magnificant mixtape!

I'm typing while listening for the first time: this is gut-reaction feedback, rather than considered opinion, but I’m the kind of gal who goes with her gut! So:

1 – MGMT: I love this album, and you picked my favourite song (I actually put one of theirs on my Mixtape). An amazing start!!!

2 – Nice. Don’t know what it is. Thought it might be Snow Patrol, but this guy is a better singer. I like the way it builds, and I’m always a fan of strings!

3 – Ooh, a sudden shift of gear! Crazy violins (me likes the strings!), kind of a bluesy/jazzy vibe very interesting lyrics. Whoever you are – you’ve got great taste!

4 – The Strokes – nice choice. Strangely, I do not own a single piece of music by them yet I once had a dream about them and this very record!

5 – Another interesting change of pace. Was worried that it was going to be a disco number when it started, but no! The voice sounds a bit familiar, but I can’t place him at the moment.

6 – Another familiar sounding voice, but I’ve not heard the track before. Lovin’ your work so far! This is a really upbeat album, full of different styles and voices – my kind of mix... have you been spying on me?

7 – Not a clue about this one. Really interesting sound – dramatic guitar & strings, good vocal. Switches styles a few times. Not the sort of thing I’d pick out for myself, but an interesting diversion

8 – Takes me back to my student days. No idea who it is, but it’s got that kind of Britpop vibe I used to listen to all the time. Great lyrics - “You’re so cute when you’re slurring your speech” Would definately want to hear more from this band.

9 – Bringing the tempo down now, which is nice. Again, no idea who it is, but I guess that’s the joy of the Mixtape Exchange. This guy has a beautiful voice. There are more fantastic strings

10 – KT Tunstall – love her. Also put one of hers (from the first album) on my Mixtape. I think she’s a really inspiring female artist, and sadly, there aren’t enough of them about.

11 – The Raconteurs – another excellent choice. I love the bluesy vibe they have, I find them a bit more accesible than The White Stripes. Once again, I own nothing by them, but you may have given me the nudge I needed.

12 – Manic Street Preachers – wow, you pick the good stuff! I don’t own much by them, but I do own this. This and “Design For Life” bring a tear to my eye.

Me and my friends at work make CD’s like this for each other all the time. They’ve known me for years and none of them has made a mix as entertaining and interesting as you have. Thank you for giving me a glimpse in to your world, and introducing me to some really exciting new music. I hope you’ll send me a track list so I can check out some more of their material, and I hope you get as much enjoyment out of the mixtape that lands in your mailbox.

Take care,

Alison

Want to borrow my hammer.jpg?

And was I an idiot and didn't take out the album arts of my songs?

That was me. I could figure out how to get rid of album art. Oh well.

I didn't make a mixtape for this project...but I did make a fall mixtape that is on my blog if anybody is interested.

Dave, it's ok now! :nice:

And album art wasn't included ;)

1 - "This is just the beginning!" Can't say much about it, but it's a good opener. That's a good trick hehe. ;)

2 - British. Very very known. I've heard it before but I can't remember the name of the song or the artist. BUT I like it quite a lot! ^_^

3 - Travis "Why Does It Always Rain On Me?" cover. I don't have any idea who made it because I don't really know British comedians. Save for Adam Buxton. :D DO they say "Why is it always Derry Lee?"?

4 - Artic Monkeys? I'm not so sure about the voice, but everything else is so Arctic Monkey-ish. It's quite dancey!

5 - MGMT - Time To Pretend :) It's not my favourite MGMT song, but it's one of the best ones.

6 - The Cranberries - Zombie One of the songs I started loving on first listen. It's a great song, definitely one of the best ever written, relevant also for these days.

7 - Bruce Springsteen? His voice is definitely known to me. :) it's fun, not something I'd listen to very often, but it's great for once in a while.

8 - hmmmmm this is similar to The Beatles. It's from their era, right? Love it, I wanna hear more songs like that!

9 - known beat, don't know the song, but it's interesting :D

10 - don't know it but i like itttt!

11 - again, i don't know it ... i don't recognise the band at all! i like the guitars and the melody, though. Should I know it? :uhoh:

12 - short but cool! very very old! I forgot what's the genre called, but i remember listening to songs like this when i was a kid. ^_^

13 - sweet voice, love the melody. I want to hear more!

14 - Gary Jules - Mad World (is it a cover - i mean the beats in the background?)

15 - a livelier song again, something unknown to me! it makes me bouncing a bit when i hear it :D

16 - U2 ... i should know this song .... but i can't remember the title!! ahhhhhh this is frustrating.

17 - i love it. i don't know who's singing, but it's a nice song.

18 - I know it!!!! Again, no idea of the song name or the artist. Again, this is frustrating!

19 - nice one, too :) don't know the band, though :( i think it's called bonnie&clyde, right?

20 - hmm, sounds funky! not my style, but it's listenable. is it mentioning amarillo?

21 - oh, violin! it sounds quite good, don't think i've heard many songs of this genre so far ...

22 - i don't like the voice ... actually, the whole song isn't what i'm listening to... sounds kinda 90s - bsb, cita etc.?

23 - ahhhhhh i also know this song!!!!! who's it by?? :bomb:

24 - A Moby's song. I know it because I had it on my PC, but I forgot the title :(

25 - good tune, cool beat. wanna hear more songs like that! :nice:

All in all, interesting mixtape, many styles of music, and i didn't dislike any of the songs! Thanks David!

Still no response from the recipient of my Mixtape (chews nails nervously...), and I'm waiting to find out who supplied my awesome mix. Listened to it again today and enjoyed it even more 2nd time around!

I want to be in. But I'm a moron please explain me about this... you give everyone a list of songs and then they say about it or what?

No, you make a mix, upload it and Nina sends it on to someone - I think all the details are in the first post.

You missed this round, I'm afraid, but I'm sure there'll be another one soon?

ok ok let me see if I understand, I ask eglantine to make a participant, then someone uploads his/her mix and pms to eglantine, she asigns the owner of the mix someone to guess about the songs and rate them and then the owner reveals himself/herself and gives everyone a link so all can listen to her/his mix
