To be perfectly honest, it's kinda boring for an official video. It's an AMAZING live video, and let's be real, the live version pisses all over the studio version. But for the video? I just think it's kind of lazy. I mean, it's REALLY awesome to see the song live in professional quality...but for the purpose it's meant to serve, it's a let down. They could've done alot more with the footage to make it more "video-like." Just saying... Cool to see, though.

Oooooh my :D

I loved it :D

it was totally awesome :D

The best of the three videos so far, I think :D

I know what you mean - I was hoping to see a concept video (which are my favourite kind, really), but when I saw the first few frames, I was like, "AGAIN?! Another "live official video?"

I was expecting a little more from them, but there's only so many live versions of the official videos that I can take. I guess it's nice if you were actually at the gig that was recorded, but it doesn't mean much to well, ME at least.

Still can't get the bloody thing to play... tried the adobe thing, tried mozilla... nothing.

I couldn't here Hunting High and Low on Coldplay.com either

For a DVD it's great but for an official promo music video it's cack.

gorgeous! amazing as always,i love it. seeing this video makes me think of how far and successful they have become since the live 2003 dvd, it would be awesome to see if they release another one sometime soon since they obviously have footage from the shows...just saying ;)

For Mel, Lori, Angie, myself and the others there in Chicago ... it was nice!:)

For an official video it's...meh. If your going to bother doing a live video than commit and show Chris's worst dance moves in full. As it is there were too many close ups, not enough wide shots.

But cheers to them for using a live cut of the song! Maybe they too have realized that its better that way than on the album.

It's an ace video but is it just me or does it seem to end wierdly????

Live videos can be very effective as music videos...but this is just a live video. It looks like something from a concert DVD in all honesty. It doesn't promote the song well as it has a live vocal (although heavily edited) and an arrangement that differs from what will be played on the radio, etc. They really should have over dubbed the album/single version over it and added a live effect. And the editing isn't all that spectacular, either. They could've worked alot more with color, possibly even playing off the balls as inspiration (something like they play off of them would've been cool).

But, like I said, it's just a live video. A good one. It's so exciting to see a professional video of something live from the tour. However, it kinda (dare I say) sucks as a music video. Boring, unoriginal, uninspired, and lazy. Sorry. I've been a Coldplay fan for a very long time, but being a fan doesn't mean praising everything they do. This is a very big let-down...

Dave

It won't work for me either!

does this work?

however, i saw the words "november 10" (which is my birthday) and EP and spazzed out completely, thinking that the date for prospekt's march had been moved upto my birthday. then, only after frantically IMing a friend did i realize it said that the EP was for "lost!" only :laugh4:

well, if they're calling it an EP, perhaps it'll have b-sides? maybe?

*crosses fingers*

I was thinking the same thing.. if it's an ep .. maybe we'll get new songs

does this work?

Wow yes, thank you, brilliant!! XX

its ok, I like the live vid. but in places it flicks between shots too quickly, and hurt my eyes.

I'll tell you, that video has succeeded in making Lost! one of my favourite Coldplay songs.

As someone said it's not great as a video per se, but I love it as live video, really, it's the right time for making me feel even more excited to see them live again on monday :nice:

and there's an Italian flag at the end, we're everywhere
