ah well. i bet we'll get some soon.

 

i bought a postcard with butterflies on it today at borders, but that's not what i'm going to send. i FINALLY came up with a second idea.

 

AND i went to a craft store today and i found a hole punch that's in the shape of a butterfly and looks almost EXACTLY like the butterfly confetti from the concerts! (though a little smaller) i'm using the punch-outs to decorate my second postcard :nice:

We know Debs likes the whole proyect, so i'm sure it won't take long for her response to get to Lore!!!!! ;)

I'm so excited! I want to send my postcard as soon as possible! Could someone tell me where do I have to send the postcard and when? I'm from Argentina, and it takes a lot of time to send a postcard to the other side of the world, you know.

awwww, i love how they match the (*hopefully* official) logo! :dance:

 

i honestly don't know why the rest of us bother :lol:

 

as you know, these are the only things i would tweak:

 

1) not allowing a space for return address on the right side, since this could confuse the post office--postcards usually only allow ONE address on them

 

2) once we get the official address, adding that in where it says "coldplay, the bakery"

I updated the post with full versions of both designs, if people ever decide to print them :wink:

Plus, I uploaded a big version of my stamp, if it ever gets used.

I was thinking of in case we decide the cards can be sent in enveopes, I will fill mine with butterfiles made by paper puncher of butterfly confettis.

Maybe they will hate to clean after they opened it but hey it would or could be nice still:)

is an mark with AIRMAIL required if i send the card from Germany?

would it be the easiest way to design my own postcard on the pc, print this out, and adhere it to the front side of a normal postcard?

That shouldn't be necessary, but remember that it's not 0,45€ but 0,65€ to send a postcard to GB!

According to http://www.deutschepost.de it takes 2-4 days for the card to reach its destination.

"Please send your postcards by AIRMAIL and that you receive and attach the appropriate stickers at the post office." That was said in the guidelines above. Is it still 0,65€ then?
