Hey, how are we signing our postcards? Just "Love, CookyMnstr" for ex.??? No need to put our address(like you'd do for a letter) right?? And is there a specific spot where we put the official PFFA logo thingy??

Anyone got any ideas on further promotion of the project over the next five days to get the idea further afield? Maybe someone can make some small banners or moving widgets for everyone to add to their social network or personal sites or possibly contacting their local medias or something?

we are taking over the world...

i already asked semy to make a banner for this site that's similar to the desktop, and he said it would be easy, so i think that's possibly on the way. people could probably take the smaller version of it and use it places with semy's permission.

 

he also has that lovely one in his sig...maybe if i asked, we could all nick that to use in our own sigs? i definitely have to ask first, though.

 

also, ian: is there any way possible for you to send out a mass-PM to every member when we get the address? i'll even write the PM if you want--all you'd have to do is send it! (if it's even possible to send out a mass-PM to every member...:thinking:)

i like Ian's idea of some kind of widget people can post at their myspace/facebook/etc.... Anybody knows how to do that????

i think the italian and chilean coldplay websites are already involved, thanks to lore and pat :D

 

as for widgets, i would figure they're really hard to make and to make interactive. i would assume that the best we're going to get is an image that links to the www.coldplaying.com/postcards thread, but hey, i could be wrong.

 

i just hope debs gives us the address when she told us she would. it's not that i don't trust her, it's just that i know she's really busy all the time, and i doubt we're at the top of her priority list :\

 

i have to wait a couple days, until the 25th or 26th, to print out my postcards, because that's when i go home and get access to a good printer. i printed out one and made another last time i was home, but i've changed my mind on one of them, and i've somehow managed to lose the back templates i printed :dozey:. at any rate, i want to use semy's templates anyway, so i'll just get mine off a couple days late.

get cracking on your postcards, guys! november 21 is fast approaching, and it would probably be easiest if you make your postcard NOW and just write on the address and bring it to the post office when we get the address :D.
