i don't really know exactly where we stand on the debs gift. i really wish there was some way we could get the flowers idea to work.

we're not going to come to your house and hunt you down if it's in an envelope :P. we'd just rather it not be so all the postcards look like postcards upon first look and they all look the same. if that's the only way to protect it, put it in an envelope.

 

however, office supply stores and craft stores sell this stuff which is basically a huge sheet of clear plastic on a roll which is sticky on one side. if i were you, to protect it, i'd get some of this and stick it to the postcard to "seal" it, effectively, so the embroidery doesn't get pulled or damaged. (actually i recommend EVERYONE trying to find this sticky velum stuff to protect your cards with, even if they're regular paper :D). it makes the cards look more professional, anyway.

 

in short: we'd prefer no envelopes, but if it's the only way it's the only way. and we can't come hunt you down for it :P

i love the poster idea, but i think it would be really hard to coordinate :sad:

 

i also LOVE the paper flowers idea, though! however, if there was some way we could all get them together so they were all sent at once as a big surprise, i think that would be awesome :D. i'd be willing to collect them and send them off, if that works.

 

 

The idea to put together all postcards with a "Thanks Debs" its for thanks her that without her it would be more hard. Only that. Its a visual relation putted together between what we made and what she made for us. It was only an idea.

 

I still think it's better send her one only thing with our thanks than lots. It doesn't really matters if it is a poster, fresh flowers (I love them :), sent where she works with a pretty target) or paper ones putted together in some way maybe inside some transparent recipient :):):), or another thing.

 

I'm in, with whatever we finally do :)

Maybe would could sent her two postcards, one with thanks and one with debs on the back although you can't read it unless you put the two together... It could be a thanks card from all of us here.
