i have a PO box at college, so i dont think it would be too big of a deal. i might change my mind, though, since the PO box is at the college rather than in some random town and is fairly specific :worried:

the thing is, though, i leave college on december 12 for the holidays, so it might not work out for me at all. maybe i should take back my offer, not because i don't want to, but because of logistics

i love the poster idea, but i think it would be really hard to coordinate

i also LOVE the paper flowers idea, though! however, if there was some way we could all get them together so they were all sent at once as a big surprise, i think that would be awesome :D. i'd be willing to collect them and send them off, if that works.

maybe when we send our postcards we could add just one butterfly per card and Write her name on it and the city that it's from, and maybe a tiny thank you message, it's a small gesture but i think it could be really nice...

if you don't have butterflies from a concert you could cut out your own

that's definitely nice too! the problem with that is the butterfly would need to go in an envelope, and we're NOT using envelopes in this project for several reasons.

yeahhh we can't send anything because we don't want to send the postcards with envelopes

probably it'd be easier to create a video with pics of us with the postcards or saying thanks or with signs with "thanks" written on it... or just to buy something and send it to the po box

maybe just paste it on top? i dunno just saying things now

edit lore.. why are you dead?!?! :stunned:

I think it's safest to assume that anything on this thread will NOT be any sort of surprise to Debs. If you want it to definitely be a surprise that would have to be organised off-board.

maybe use spoilers and tell debs not to read them :P

I don't think that she has enough time to read all the thread... but it's a good point, kimchi

and Carla.. I'm not dead, don't worry :P

haha, do you really think she stalks us? i doubt it, but the idea has crossed my mind. i think we're safe, but yes, maybe it should be taken to a more private venue to be extra-safe.

I think if we took this to another thread Debs would be fair enough not to read that... if she'd read it here it would only be by accident

but.. how to call the thread... I mean... if she reads her name in a thread name.. she'll probably check it :P

if we make it say debs don't read this.. maybe she won't

and if you tell what it'll be called in here she might findout as well

i f you call it'secrtet project'she'll definitly check it out!

we need a super secret thread!

we should call Harry potter and aask him to put a spell on the thread so that it's invisble to Debs only

excellent idea!

haha, guys, i really highly doubt that discussing it in this thread is an issue. if she was too busy to check our emails, she is too busy to stalk us in the thread . she has a job, you know :P

i think i need to send a thank-you email back, saying thanks for the response. everyone agree?

Yes, I agree that it would be a good idea to send a thank you email.

I don't think the poster would be hard. In the official Postcards thread, the mods asked the people who will make postcards to post their scanned postcard here so that we'd be able to share ideas. If we all do it, one can collect them and make it into a collage for the background then we can put "Thank you Debs". :)

Anyway, do you guys think she'll be able to read this? :D I hope not! :P

Well at least not before we give her the poster (if we can pull it through)

I'm excited for this PFFA project!

And yeah, a thank you email for the response will be great! She's putting efforts in us so we should not let her down :)

Okay. I have my postcard. It's done. :) *waits patiently*

I'm currently working on my postcards but just have one question. I think I read somewhere that the postcards should not be sent in an envelope. However, I was planning on embroidering a message and sticking this on the front of the card. I'm concerned that it may get damaged in the post and would have preferred to send it in a padded envelope. What are your thoughts on this? By the way, I will of course be making sure that the dimensions are correct and it will only be postcard sized.

Ive still got to get mine done... where is the time gone?

I don't know where the time's gone. I've still got to make my postcards too!

So were do we stand in the gift to Debs???
